There are so many bars and even restaurants I've seen that are just like in these shows. In a normal world, there are more failures than successors. That's just the unfortunate reality. He never came into touch with people like that because he's been privileged to go to successful bars and restaurants his whole life more than likely which is why it was so remarkable in the beginning because he never been in the environments that most of us in the real world grow up in unfortunately. He had it good if he genuinely thought nobody was like that before he did the show. I can tell you about places where I grew up that I'd pay you not to go there if you told me you were going to eat or drink there, even as a kid I knew lmao.

He did a bar in my town a few years back. Completely fucked it up and they lost pretty much all their regulars. Took a sports bar that a lot of people went to to watch NFL/MLB/NBA and tried to turn it into a western style bistro. They lost a lot of business and had to revert it back to what it was just to stay afloat. Everyone in the town of Sumner Washington makes fun of it lol
@spectilia3 ай бұрын
Yeah, the complete rebrand thing he likes to do only works if there is sufficient customer base to support it and there is like NO other competition in that niche. It is the equivalent of starting a brand new business, which is already really risky and that is without years of bad business debt. Granted, sometimes it IS necessary (especially if the place has a bad enough rep you need to trick people into thinking it is under new management), but I feel like he uses the method entirely too much.

Well, I'm almost certain that anybody who has gone into a bar known Taffer.
