How did your guests take it when you raised rates in your restaurant?

This is why I am a subscriber...you strive to get to the root cause/effect of a problem...and turn it into an opportunity. You do not effectively fight a fire by attacking the flames...you attack the fire at its base. I share your motivation to explore/explain for better results.

Create culture is the best statement I heard from you years ago. Just wanted to say thank you. In our store we have implemented employee appreciation days. It's a huge success. This memorial day we are going kyacking. Keep up the great work

Absolutely awesome video. Remarkable distillation of key drivers and common mistakes made by small businesses (myself included). I will be adopting your ideas immediately and sharing them with my managers asap.

Well, if a restaurant has to increase their prices, does that not make employees expect to be given a pay raise?
@Therestaurantboss Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. Here's a good video Ryan did on how to give raises that I think will help balance this out for you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/roWac56ElM17gKM -Dawn, Team TRB

Hey please answer !! I’m desperate:( my food costs are up to 50 % .. all while still being anywhere from 20% -40% cheaper than alll my competition .. I was stupid and waited for years to pass to raise prices .. I need to raise prices but it would have to be like 5% to 20% increase.. and I’d STILL CHEAPER THAN competitors.. I’m confident in using that as the bright side ..but I’m still worried . Please advice me in what’s my best choice..

You have to raise your prices. There's no other choice or you're going to be out of business. The takeaway from the video will remain the same for you too - whether you're current in your prices and want to raise them OR, like you, you've needed to raise them for a long time, the customer is never going to care what things cost you. If you tell them that the same fries they ordered yesterday are double the price today because it costs you more money, they have zero F's to give. All that matters is whether what you're serving to them is worth the money you're charging. Hope that helps! -Dawn, Team TRB
