The pass mainoo gave garnacho, beating two players right on his foot, he buries that and it would be one of the best passes of the season. He touched the ball 3 -4 times in the second half, all three was creating attacking chances. I would play him in the center, his positioning is brilliant, to me it look like he gave them no space, it was like they avoided him. Players know good players, on the field I can see there is respect building. His vision remind me of De Bryne.

It's such an important position in modern football, but if you don't go to games you don't get to see how much they are doing. Carrick was a much better passer of the ball but they both have a similar role, it doesn't look flashy but it's pivotal role; no pun intended.

Funny how any other team go to Anfield and get a point and they’re praised on how well they defend and how resilient they were, yet when it’s United all of a sudden it’s oh Liverpool we’re so poor the game was awful. Only the first team to take points of them at home all season. United defended fantastically, were energetic & resilient, they stopped Liverpool having proper chances & managed to create a few of their own. Give them credit ffs. From what I understand he's been quite highly rated for a while and from what I heard from Dan Burn, Miley was already in amongst the first team when he was 16.

We have to be realistic and ask for what the man deserves. The realistic view is the man should never step foot on a pitch again. Horrifically blunt, but his life is more important. By extension, football fans need to come together to ensure he gets some form of HEALTHY payout from the FA. Yes, 99.9999% of us are never gonna earn 20k a week (I don’t know his wages but to understate). It doesn’t change the fact that HE DOES. He earned his spot in that Luton team. We all could have had we worked hard enough. So he earned his wages. His career just got cut short, through no fault of his own. I sincerely hope he gets paid out, so he doesn’t have to consider getting back on the pitch. Please, make his family whole. Get well soon Tom.

People will criticise ten Hag when team is too open, and he will again be criticised for being compact away from home and getting a result against anfield being called boring when he had a major chunk if his team missing. When no matter what happens a manager is criticised the people expose themselves to being biased instead of seeing why what's happening, United managed Anfield's first non win of the season, nullified Liverpool's intensity and crowd's energy and made it difficult to create a good chance. Had it been a big italian side, people would be waxing lyricals. United wasn't negative, we were just compact, the finishing definitely needs a lot if improvement, but had united been clinical, this game would've been won considering the chances United got by forcing Liverpool to expose themselves by letting them overcommit and be frustrated for not getting a goal. People need to nit listen to pundits as if it's a gospel and be realistic with the condition squad is in right now and have sensible expectations.
