Hi. I’ve just started watching through your videos and you are very inspiring! I’m going to attempt cabinets for my garage! The way you explain and talk about things is so relaxed and it’s very easy listening and very easy to absorb the information! Thank you!

Hi, I’m in the process of doing exactly the same but for my garage. Instead on kitchen cabinet legs I went for castors so I can move them about and use them for supporting large sheets etc when cutting down. I used 18mm ply but used 5mm for the backs. Love you videos.👍😃

I've done the same as you but I'm worried about butting the back tot he external garage wall. Did you do this or space it out?

When screwing pocket holes either clamp a batten on the other side or use dowels or dominoes like I do, it'll stop the drift. Also when using that kreg shelf pin jig, remove the fence and flush the jig with the carcase edge. This sets the holes in 37mm which means the holes will also work with the Blum hinge plates 👍

Yeah I’ve done a pocket hole and biscuit combo which helped but well worth making up a right angled jig to but them against I think. Will have a play around with the pin jig, thanks for the tip. 👍

Love your content! I’m building my own workshop/garage right now and these have been SO useful. What are those flat lighting panels on your ceiling!? The light quality looks great for working in.

@@TheRestorationCouple pay the man the money. I thought getting a second 1500 long section was an extravagance but it saves so much clart, and (assuming you join them straight) it’s eliminates any deviations.

All I could see was a small overfilled dark garage and you digging through many neatly organized piles of material “for later use” 😏 to find tools 🗜 and clear space to start working on a project. Long way to this bright, spacious, tools 🧰 at the ready workshop 🙌🏽🙌🏽 quality work still being made despite the ease 😆 🙄 one mistake 🤭🤫

as mentioned before, the 3m track is worth it. the current timber is awful and as i don't have a nice work bench, i have used the track to even out the twist in the ply and level it

Is the workbench sacrificial? Does the tracksaw cut into it?
@TheRestorationCouple

Yes. Just cuts in by a mm or so. The plus is that there is little tear out and all the dust comes up and out the hose unlike a circular saw.
