Hi, could you answer a question please :) I see you use the wax set to fill, but what is the more liquid colour item you put on with the brush at the end, as it doesn't say?? also what do you spray it with at the end? Good video, looks great, would just like to know what those two items are so i can try.

I retouch the structure with acrylic paints. At the end of the surface is covered with a transparent restoration varnish, appropriate gloss

You can use putty. Preferably two-component. The main thing is to choose the right color of putty!

That was very good, but I did notice the angle of the camera changed towards the end so we couldn’t see the plan view as we’d seen during the process.

Great vid. If the hole is a bit bigger (half a golf ball) would you bulk it up with filler first before using the wax to finish?

@@TheLovelyHeadache do you mind telling me what products you used? We had a space heater burn about a fifty cent piece size in our RV. I’ve sanded it down so the burn is gone but now I’m not sure what to fill it in with. It’s a grey slateish color(fake wood look) I have shellac to seal it with. I was going to try my shellac nail polish but I think that might be a bad idea 😆

@@AmandaW1169 oh no! I searched up a wood filler kit on Amazon like the video had and I just mixed the colors until I got my floor color! If it’s deep you can use a filler of some sort, mine wasn’t deep so I’m not sure what exactly to fill with. Just make sure you give it time to dry properly.

@@TheLovelyHeadache I was in a hurry so I used my shellac nail polish and my up light. I used a matte top coat and IT WORKED PERFECT!!! I even draw in the fake marble look 😂😂😂 . Man was I nervous but you can’t even tell!!! Thanks for the advice!!!!!

In the UK I worked for a big company this would cost £80 for the first hour then something like £40 a hour after that it doest take long so would usually cost £80. so i should imagine using a self employed repair man would be a little cheaper depending on size and the area you live

As someone who has done this for a job you won't get a repair you can't see unless you replace it. We had to take pictures of all the jobs we did using the same camera angles as this video, we also did close ups aswell . only the person that damaged the floor would know its repaired unless the colour is out everyone would know.
