Wow, controversial take with Warped Orbit. I find it’s layout way too simplistic for any strategizing, it’s just stealing back and forth until you run out of turns. The chance to hide or get bone orbs or use a slow dice to stay behind the chain chomp house were all important aspects of strategizing that make pyramid and snowflake much better imo

Yeah, but in the Story Mode, it's fantastic in kinds of strategizing. But you're kinda right: In Party Mode it's really just taking stars and nothing more. Tycoon Town doesn't really do a better job either. So I would pick Shy Guy's Perplex Train. (the 4th one)

I actually love Mario party 9, I think it has a fantastic roster of mini games and music that holds it up also the awesome boss mini games, though Mario party 10 does indeed suck I only thing I like about 10 is spikes inclusion and the Monty mole boss fight.

I’d say the worst board of 3 was Woody Woods… my personal favorite board in that game was Creep Cavern. And Waluigi’s Island comes in a close second

I REVERE ALL the Mario Party games, boards, and minigames. (That’s my opinion) My favorites are Mario Party 4 and 8. I remember playing Mario Party 4 a lot, and Boo’s Haunted Bash is my favorite board from that game.

Can I ask why you love Koopa's Tycoon Town from 8?

@@goldenyoshistar1 It’s a different take on a board and it’s cool because instead of buying stars you invest in buildings with coins but they can easily be bought out by opponents and they then take your stars so nobody is ever really out of the game until the very end. You have to strategize on whether certain buildings are worth investing in because some give more stars than others but you also want to strategize on the amount of coins you put into the building, there’s more to it but that’s kinda what sticks out to me and the layout is pretty good and compliments the board unlike windmillville from MP7 which is like Koopa’s Tycoon Town but worse

@@CeoOfBettt for me, Koopa's Tycoon town is the one board in MP8 that I'd give it 1 star out of 5 stars. It's broken beyond hell... Bowser does nothing devastating compared to how he does in 7 with windmilleville, you can easily guaranteed a win especially in a long game if you snag both lucky space hotels using a slowgo shroom and grab 100 coins for each hotel, making you have a guaranteed 6 stars. Since everyone is fighting for hotels... you can easily abuse that fact and then snag 1 more hotel. with 4 hotels up for grabs, you force your opponents to pick a single target to defeat you making it an easy win for you. It's the least strategic of the board because you can even abuse the AI on this board. On Master/Very Hard, the AI is easily taken advantage of. All the other boards, the AI can be a problem, and even actual players can be tough to deal with. It's my least favorite board of the classic Mario Party games (1-8 and DS) and It's the one board that I will always critizize. Rarely do I ever give any board a 1-star rating, but this one is the big exception. Windmilleville, while also not great, is honestly far better than Koopa's Tycoon Town due to how Bowser easily makes it a bit more chaotic. yeah, you can 100 coin dominate a windmille, but at the same time, Bowser can eliminate that windmille or even steal from it, decreasing the amount of coins you get from them. It makes it a bit more of a strategy. Added with how the junctions work, it makes you want to plan ahead. If you want a certain windmille, then you can try to bait someone else to make the move and go the other direction so you can snag it for yourself. I'm not fond of these board gimmicks in general, but I'd put Windmilleville above Koopa's Tycoon Town 100% Also... Bandit Orbs exist in 7 so easy way to get money from other players who land on your spaces. 8 has a few Bandit Happening Spaces... and honestly not enough ways to steal money from hotels.

Mario Party 6 - yeah. Clockwork Castle is a great Board. It's also one of those boards where actually orb placement matters. If you can time it right, you can screw over all your friends and take all their orbs. Toadie orbs become devastastating. Mario Party 7 - I like Neon Heights, though I have a friend who got bored of Neon Heights due to all the events and on a long game, they can get excessive. Mario Party 8 - King Boo's Haunted Hideaway is my favorite and actually, you are the first person I've found who has not picked Koopa's Tycoon Town as their favorite 8 board.

Mario Party 9 - Boo's Horror Castle huh... interesting, I do prefer Magma Mine more. as for 1-5... I haven't played enough to decide a favorite.... though for MP1 1 - Wario's Battle Canyon 2 - Horror Land/ Bowser Land 3 - Creepy Caverns/Spiny Desert 4 - (not enough to decide) 5 - (same as 4) 10 - Chaos Castle is an interesting one...

For me: MP1: Warios battle canyon. Dumb fun. MP2: tough call, but between western land and bowser land, I lean towards bowser land. You can do more stuff on the board itself. MP3: Spiny desert is a masterpiece. I like waluigis island, but I think that spiny desert is a little bit better MP4: goombas greedy gala, great theming, and is one of the only bearable boards in this game MP5: I like pirate dream. It’s like a functional creepy cavern. MP6: I like all of the boards except towering treetop, but I’d go with faire square. There’s a lot of strategy that goes into it. MP7: tough, but I think that bowsers enchanted inferno uses bowser time the best, so I’ll go that MP8: I love this game and its boards. My choice pretty much changes on any given day of the week, but right now it’s king boos haunted hideaway. Such a good idea. MP9: Magma Mine. If you’re losing, you can just be a troll. It’s a shame that this is the only board where you have actual input on where to go when a cpu is in charge. In addition to having the 2 best boss fights in the game behind bowser… yeah. MP10: chaos castle easily. It’s just a fun board all around. Funny how you can play it from the getgo. SMP: king bobombs powder keg mine: only good board in the game MPS: horror land, also the only good board, but to a lesser extent, because peaches birthday cake and yoshis tropical island are decent boards. MPDS: bowser pinball. Chaos is fun MPSR: world 4 is by far the best. 0 is crap, one is boring, 2 is annoying, and 3 is way too easy. The best straight up board is 4-3. MPIT: they’re all kinda bad ngl, I’ll go perilous path, because the items are fun to use. MPtt100: the one board in this game is terrible. MPA: shroom city is a fun romp. A throwback in a future Mario party board to this would be insanely epic.

Bowser’s Warped Orbit? BEST STAR STEALING BOARD?! ITS A FUCKING CIRCLE WITH NO DECISION MAKING. AND SINCE ITS JUST A CIRCLE WHOEVER ROLLS HIGHEST WINS. AND ALSO YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET STARS AND LOSE STARS FROM THE GAME ENTIRELY AS IN DK JUST GIVES YOU A STAR AND BOWSER JUST STEALS IT. SO ANOTHER STRATEGY IS JUST TO GRIND DK SPACES. And also, I think 6 just has much better boards. Clockwork castle especially. If anyone is hating, it’s you. I’ve never seen someone have a meltdown over someone’s opinion of a mario party board of all things.
