These Frankenstein accessories are great! Alternative sculpt feet is just awesome! The different head sculpts and containers really add something to the gurney, too.

I nearly missed out on this, but thankfully they did 3 restocks and I managed to get him on the 3rd release. $70 is a great price and even with $28 shipping (I'm in the UK) still very reasonable. I was after the Junkyard Joe figure from Mezco but their shipping is ludicrous, so sadly I had to pass. Looking forward to getting this, and Mixing and Matching with my NECA Frankenstein accessories.

Just got mine about an hour ago, also a UK collector. Was always curious about Figura Obscura after their Headless Horseman/Red Death releases, but this finally got me to order one. Managed to find Red Death too second hand for a good price, now just waiting for a Headless Horseman restock.

@@tomtudorweaver1078 I love that this is based on how he first appeared in the illustrations from the original novel. I have all the accessory packs for the NECA Frankenstein's, and the Jada toys deluxe version too, so going to be able to build a nice diorama with all tables and creatures.

Spot, video playback starts skipping at 22:23 when you're saying "...and while we're leaving his lower half of his body..." and continues throughout to the end. Tried a few different speeds and video quality settings, all with the same result.

Yeah. It seems to freeze for a second. Then plays for about three to five seconds before freezing again for a second.

Hi, thanks for the video. About my experience: be careful when you change the heads, it looks like the hole is small than the main head. I did swamp with the second head, and broke up the peg of my neck. Terrible.

Yeah there was a couple of times I was worried with the ball joint in the head and on the ankles of the figure, sorry to hear that your peg broke, its a shame they had to make the connections so tight like that. Thanks for coming by and checking out the video today, really appreciate it!

Excellent review as always, really glad to finally see a book inspired version of the creature in figure form. I've always been curious about Figura Obscura and this was what pushed me to finally pick some up. Having recently got their Red Death I was impressed but I was still waiting on this one to arrive, now having it in hand it's shot up to figure of the year contender for me. I love how many display options there are, whilst I appreciate the book accurate long hair option I personally prefer the snarling bald head without the coat, fits more of my own mental image. Not even kidding I was literally watching the Hammer version last night and then for this to arrive today couldn't have been better timing.

Besides this Frankenstein taking on a werewolf, Dracula, or any other monster...I'm thinking of him taking on Godzilla, Kong, Jason Voorhees, or anything I can think of. Now I hope the Four Horsemen make a retail version of this figure that would be amazing.

Spot says the stitches are cool just cause he´s not the one that has them. I´ll tell you the most dramatic experience I´ve had related to stitches. I went through this operation were they had planted an implant right over my right behind cheek. It´s basically a bypass but for my bladder since I had issues with it. I got removed the stitches and was even told to not even wear bandages. That same evening I decided to lay down (carefully) on bed. I don´t how it happened but I, somehow, fell right where the stitches where. Instant pain, a feeling of warm liquid all over me... Of course, the wound had been opened and all of that feeling was blood. I tried to clean it up as much as I could, used bandages but the blood wouldn´t stop leaking. So, for sure I had to go ER instantly. I was told that the wound was so opened the doctor could see the implant. And, because it was a specifical medical device, an specialist had to come to see that eveything was fine so that then they could close the wound again...and that was late at night. I had arrived at the ER around 7pm or so but ended up leaving aroung 9pm. Whenever I remember the experience gives me goosebumps. PS Emergencies are called that for a reason. Not only they just happen. But why they always do when you´re by yourself, late at night, weekends...whenever it´s more difficult for you to do what most be done.

The table has heavy ratchet detents, so it will hold the weight of the figure in any position.

It allows him to hold the books. His thumb fits into the hole with the splayed out hands.

actually the books are taken from the Jacob Marley release where they were to attach to other things, they werent meant for this particular figure
