Can't wait to add panther and cougar to the collection, I had so many of the original Kenner line back in the day but through some pets and the many moves they were damaged beyond recognition or outright lost. I hope they add Bull Alien to the collection eventually.

They are really neat looking figures, did you end up picking them up after all?

I picked these two new xenos up at Walmart the other day! The head joint will actually move all the way up and go just about horizontal with the body (not the neck proper, but the joint at the base of the skull); it just may take a little heat to get the joint "soft" enough to move the full range.

yeah you know what, after this review I ended up putting the figure in hot water to loosen up the joint and sure enough I was finally able to get it to budge, looks much nicer now

Man i had the original one of these back in the day, my very first xeno action figure. Back then it reminded me of the xeno from alien 3.

I dont think I had the original Panther from Kenner, but I know I had the Flying Queen and I loved that figure, I had mostly the Marines and I think Gorilla Alien

I'll have to pick up the Panther Alien figure. It presents a unique design with the shortened dome, parasite and the paint application. Speaking of paint application, the silver, gold and burnt orange definitely compliment each other rather nicely. The pincer at the end of the tail looks like something that you'd see on a Scorpion. Solid work on NECA's part. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot!

Ay Spot, loved the review! Used to watch you all the time, stopped watching toy reviews for a few years but getting back into it now! Picked up a Panther Alien from Target tonight, really love this guy, but my front arm joints are loose and the plastic shell on the head fell off lmao. Still a good figure though!

My favorite Alien figure has to be the Queen from Aliens. It's such an awesome presence in my collection, a highlight really. As for a favorite Predator, I gotta go with Predator 2 Battle Damaged City Hunter as it looks awesome, it comes with his breathing mask and his left forearm is severed. It reminds me of a time when Predator as a franchise peaked. For me at least, every Predator related movie since has been disappointing at best.

Battle Damaged City Hunter is a pretty cool Predator, I still prefer the Jungle Hunter moreso. What did you think of Prey? I would probably put that as 2nd right after the original Predator Film

I ordered the the night cougar and panther. Even though they both rock I prefer the panther. I love how his colors pop. I was expecting the night cougar to be much blacker but he actually has a dark grey silvery color. And his dome is splashed with silvery dots, which is different and refreshing but I’m not the biggest fan of that look. Great review as always!

I do really like the darker colour scheme of the Night Cougar but I think because this one reminds me more of the original Kenner with the brighter colours I have a soft spot for this one, thanks for coming by and checking out the video

My fave Neca Alien figure is the Red Queen and my fave Predator figure would be the Alpha Predator

Its been a while since ive seen a neca alien review. I prefer the color scheme on the night cougar but its nice to see both added to the kenner line. Im interested to see the new fireteam elite line neca is dropping soon.

oh you like the Night Cougar a little more, yeah the darker colour scheme is interesting using this mold but I think I might still stick with Panther as my favourite of the two

The colours kind of remind me of a cheap market or gift shop toy ..it's a shame it's not more dark and creepy in alien colours .. maybe blackish fading too the clear red

the kenner line had same color for this particular xeno. For me it worked, because back when i was a kid it reminded me of the xeno from alien 3

I do agree that this figure would have looked better if they had applied a wash of black over top of the sculpt, it would have really helped to get those details to pop on the figure

Yeah its really hard to keep up with collecting several lines of things, I try but its impossible at times to get multiple figures in a month..gets way too expensive :(

It sucks that you can never bring the head up when posed on all four legs. The Lanard Dog Alien can do that. It's embarrassing really. That's why I never buy any NECA aliens that use that body sculpt. It's a shame because it looks awsome.

I like the way you can stand the Xeno from alien 3 on its hind legs and pose it in standing up pose. I feel like its probably the most practical xeno design, they took off the dorsal fins xenos usually have on their back and in turn it makes him more poseable. you cant do that with the xeno from alien 1

Yeah it seems like one big weakness for the figure, the one thing you'd want it to do any it can't pull off that kind of articulation

I ended up actually having this one and Panther displayed on my shelf sitting on their hind legs like cats, they kinda look like old Eyptian Cat statues like that, they compliment each other really well
