The best remedy for this is using other toyline weapons (guns and knife specifically) to make up with the short comings of these weapon handling characters as shown in the trailers, Catwoman uses a pistol, Riddler is using a hunting riffle, Penguin uses a damn uzi sucks that we have to go the extra mile just to get what we want...it still confuses me on how stoping of making gun accessories on toys gonna stop gun violence other lines doesnt seem to have problem with it only DC/WB what a stupid decision and to piss off their customer just imagine having a gun wielding characters without guns they look naked without em (*coughs in redhood, peacemaker, and bloodsport*)

Batman Grim Knight figure came with guns. But he was made last year I think. Maybe why he's risen up in price since.

Having now seen the film, no spoilers but he does briefly use an umbrella in the film and even the image on the card has one, I'd have been fine with that being included, in fact I may be wrong but I think the look of the figure is based on the scene where he has an umbrella. He also uses a cane at times in the film which could've easily been included. I'll probably give him some kind of smaller Uzi type machine gun like we see in the film, either from a Classified series figure or maybe there's a NECA Terminator figure that has something close to what he uses. I saw this in person last week and considered getting it, but then passed since the look of the layers of clothing was too plasticky to me, however now having seen the film I'll probably get it since I really liked the character.

Wish they gave him his high heeled shoes that he wore in the film. Such a nice touch they did in the film to show that he wears heels to appear taller.

I always have a problem with "Guy In Suit" figures like this, as they feel so generic and uninteresting. Doesn't make me wanna run out and buy it.

Penguin has always been an ugly mob boss type character in a suit. He's a bit too tall but he clearly looks like several comic interpretations. I loved suited characters. They're way more interesting than superheroes to me that's why Penguin is one of my favourite comic book characters. He looks good.

That's very true, but I'd imagine these were designed back before we didn't have much to go off of save for the teaser trailer and funeral set photos. With that said, I'd love a more accurate headsculpt in a different outfit in the future if they make more figures of this version.

This whole line has been immensely disappointing Barely any accessories, barely any hands, cheap-o sculpts that combine parts that should be separate…it’s a bit shocking, but then again, The Suicide Squad figures also lacked any passion, too. Seems like the only time anything interesting gets made under DC and McFarlane is when it’s another gross, mutated version of Batman or some other character. Most of the normal figures, and really all of the movie figures I’ve seen, were so obviously done with the absolute least amount of effort possible Thanks for these close-up, detailed reviews, because I otherwise might’ve caved to the hype and bought some just because of the branding, which I now know would have been a colossal waste

McFarlane Toys have been cutting corners with a lot of their recent figure releases. The sculpts have been underwhelming. Paint has been lacking. Accessories are almost non-existent. The decision to not include plastic guns with action figures makes no sense whatsoever. These are just toys after all. I guess that's a concept that McFarlane Toys can't seem to grasp. At least, the video was enjoyable as always. Thanks once again Spot!

The focus with McFarlane's figures always seemed to be making them more like statues than action figures. That may be fine for older collectors, but this is supposed to be a TOY LINE for a major big-budget superhero movie - A BATMAN MOVIE - that's coming out soon. These figures should be able to appeal to younger audiences as well as older collectors. And that means stop molding the figures into specific poses, add more articulation, and include more accessories. Give the buyer more of a way to pose and play with these figures. Hasbro and Mattel have already proven that you can produce figures that are molded with collector-level detail, can be movie-accurate, and still lend themselves to versatile playability. Honestly, I can't wait for McFarlane's license to expire so another company can take on the DC brand. I believe it expires in 2023, so hopefully it doesn't get renewed because McFarlane is simply not suited for these kind of figures.

I see this figure and all I see is a Dick Tracy villain. I will have to wait to see the movie but, although I love the Dick Tracy movie you can see the makeup is very dated by today’s standard, this make-up hides Colin Ferrell but the figure looks dated. The idea of the big heavy jacket wrapping him like a burrito makes me think, “Why would I need this figure?” I think it is great for completion it’s who want the movie figures but I think for this movie I will stick to collecting the Lego sets.

Not really Todd's fault here but WTF? I've avoided the trailers as I do for any movies I'm considering watching. But the character designs in this movie are really off the mark. Why not in a Top hat and proper suit? Hard pass on this as well as this movie line.. No thanks I don't have room on my shelf for these.
