Connections between Eda & Joesph: -Both are gray-haired, old, yet powerful fighters who, when they were younger, were laid-back troublemakers who usually annoy their enemies until they get serious and show their true power. -They fought many monsters and villains in their time, and had a close friend who had the same supernatural ability as them (Raine Whispers with Magic/Caesar Zeppeli with Hamon). -By the time they became older, they gained a new power (Hermit Purple/the Owl Beast), though Hermit Purple was Joseph’s developing Stand, while Eda was cursed by her sister, Lilith. -They came across teenage heroes who were new to their supernatural surroundings and abilities, and were also troublemakers (Luz Noceda/Jotaro Kujo). Easily one of the most underrated matchups for both franchises. I somewhat prefer Frieren for Eda these days, though this is still her best alt and the best for Joseph (Old Joseph, specifically). The track itself is really cool, and I think it perfectly blends the style of both series’ music together. IDK FTW. I only really know about Eda and have never seen JJBA. But from what I know about Joseph and taking into account everything I know about Eda, I think both have decent enough win-cons. If I had to choose one, I think I’ll side with Eda.

It really just comes down to speed. Hamon would just kill, and Hermit Purple would make it EASY for him to use it on her, especially due to the fact that Eda would have to get in close in her Harpy form to fight. So if Joseph's faster, he catches her with HP and kills her with Hamon. If Eda's faster, she physically overwhelms him. If they're comparable, I'd give the slight edge to Joseph because JoJo battle IQ go CRAZY.

As much as I love Eda,I believe Joseph would win this fight. Joseph's Stand is surprisingly versatile but he still has his Hamon techniques (note: he has never used his old tricks during Part 3 of Jojo, but could in theory still use them) Eda's only noticeable magic she has left is her Potions and Bard magic. Joseph's Hamon might be able to counter most of Eda's remaining tricks, but with Joseph's foresight and tricky nature, it's hard to see if Eda could win. Eda's only ace is her most risky spell: Eda's Requiem. This spell burns and corrodes all that it comes into contact with. It completely dissolved a Rat-Worm in a matter of seconds and staggered the head of the Abomination coven who is physically incapable of being physically injured. However, the spell still comes at the risk of killing the caster and was also being cast by two musicians, means it might take longer or be ineffective. Even if Eda uses her Owl Beast form, Joseph has survived encounters with the Pillar Men and several Stand users who could be considered even stronger by wide margin

Eda is physically superior to Joseph (specifically in Harpy form), but Joseph fought opponents like that before and would know to keep his distance. Eda could use spells with Owlbert (assuming we have Eda use magic at the start), but Joseph could yoink it away with Hermit Purple (also her bard instrument if she tries to use Eda's Requiem). Harpy Eda lacking ranged options would mean that she'd have to get in close to attack, which leaves her vulnerable to a Hamon attack, especially when Joseph can channel it through Hermit Purple (which she can't see BTW), and in her enraged form (as Joseph would likely harm/break Owlbert thinking it's her stand) she becomes a bigger target and goes berserk, which makes it EASIER for Joseph to use his Hamon on her. Joseph's speed, Battle IQ and experience advantages would also help him in landing the one Hamon hit he needs to pull off the victory. Joseph should win with Low-Mid Difficulty. Eda has way more hax if we let her use magic and she's physically superior, but Joseph's speed, experience and Hamon would let him outfox the Owl Lady.

The way I see it, Eda (especially Harpy Eda) is physically superior to Old Joseph (as the commissioner is using Part 3 Joseph) and would totally tear him to shreds if she gets in close. However, Joseph's too fast and crafty for that to reliably happen, and Hermit Purple would help Joseph seal the deal with Hamon.
