Precious metals are always good to own, but I'm with Jay on having some cash. Am I taking a hit against inflation? Yes. However, I look at the hit I'm taking holding some cash as a "risk premium" I pay, so I'll still have cash when buying opportunities arise. IMO, all the signals for this "everything bubble" to burst are there (just like 08'), and when it does, there will be deals to be had...if you have the cash to take advantage.

He doesn't invest in stocks. He buys literal oil. Usable oil and sells it for a profit. He is a business man and investor. He already talked about "make money with what makes you happy". His example was "Okay. You like boats. You want to buy one but of course it is expensive. Thats where good debt comes in places. You can charter your boat and make money with it on the days you are not using it. People can rent your boat, you make money and can pay of your debt faster and later on make profit."

I AM PAYING ATTENTION! What about the already retired? I would like to see a program on this... We seniors are the epitome of "inflation" - where your money is buying less at the store than ever before. My husband (age 76) and I (71) MUST eat organic and a very special protocol that is expensive. Our (00% home-cooked) groceries alone cost the two of us over $1,000 a month. Add to that the cost of out-of-pocket costs of our medical needs/eye glasses/dental needs (my husbands cracked tooth needed a $1,200 crown recently.) When you have a modest income coming in each month PLUS rising inflation and ALL prices are going up faster than I can keep up. Add to that one medical emergency, or a vehicle accident and a senior on a fixed income is in serious trouble. We had around $10,000 in the liquid "emergency money" in the bank and then this hit...Within one year our water heater, our furnace, our dish washer and our microwave died. I am making due without a new microwave but the rest must be replaced. Then our 14-year-old fridge water line broke and flooded our condo. Our entire condo's flooring was ruined. Yes, we have "replacement" insurance but after they take off the usage of the 14-year-old flooring "value" the money they give us is not enough to fully do the project at today's cost with the cost of materials and labor. They will only replace the flooring with the absolute CHEAPEST laminate product available that is not going to last past 8 years IF we are lucky. They gave us less than $1,200 for padding and new carpeting for our master bedroom- this is product, materials, labor and disposal!!!

I've always hated the idea of investing. I know myself, and I know I don't have the stomach to handle the risks. I converted all my savings into gold and silver after Russia declared war on the Ukraine. I hate that they're making me do this with their stupid games. i just dont get how anyone can go for bitcoin, some digital thing made by a group of people who are famously connected with a ring that is currently famous for getting into trouble on an island doing bad stuff. so i'd imagine the entire point of this coin was to collect all of the wealth and then crush it to destroy humanity and enslave them

you would be correct. except they aren't going to crush wealth, their endgame is to pump btc, get everyone comfortable with using crypto, then force everyone to use a single currency. and they can control the masses a lot easier with computers so it only makes sense to get rid of cash and digitize money.
