@@insectbite1714 yup I'm aware, haha, there's been news of "soya" buildings that topples or collapses while under or upon completion of construction... but apparently if you've been following up with architectural news there's a lot of high rise buildings with defects in countries like Australia and the US, and these buildings have not even been subjected to any earthquake or tremors yet... I'm from Asia, we have high rise everywhere, and each time an earthquake strikes, mostly its those low rise (commercial) buildings that tends to collapse or topple... also if you notice the surrounding areas of this new Raffles City, there's plenty of buildings around it, all probably had their share of earthquakes and tremors and they're still standing so I bet the construction of this new towers probably is under close and strict scrutiny as well, add on its customers and potential tenants are mostly high net worth and the developer i bet wouldn't want to play with a lawsuit or two... I'm not from China by the way, and we have Chinese construction companies here as well building apartments and commerical buildings, all still standing though some have ridiculous defects like leaking roof due to poor waterproofing...
