Ride share companies should have a minimum fair of at least $15 make it worth everyone's time or else walk it or phone a friend. This is not a charity of how low can we go
@CasitaViews21 сағат бұрын
I agree, cab rides just 15 years ago were charging triple the price and were getting tipped , and uber drivers today make 3 times less then cabs did back in the day and we have better cars
@vanzarockinКүн бұрын
What we drivers need to concentrate on is, eliminating uber and lyft from, our markets. Driving for the competitors is how we do that. Passengers are at a point where they are ready to ditch U/L, we just need to make sure we are onboard to accept trips from competitors, when viable offers are presented.

Thank you for doing example of InDrive! I have been LITERALLY praying for a fair alternative to Lyft and Uber. The pay is awful! I’ve been a professional driver for 23 years. I want to make money doing rideshare; but I can’t make real money with their driver split that I estimate at 90/10 to 80/20% at best; even with surging. This is criminal. InDrive will be a Godsend for us. Like you said: it will make us true independent contractors: as we set our own hours and rates. You’re also right about competition: it will make the two giants compete if they want to stay in business. A true 70/30% split is awesome! I could make it in this business with that! Thanks again for the demo!!

Indeed there’s no media marketing. I see YRide got the permit for the San Jose Airport and they said they are working to get the permit for SF International Airport. I have to assume they are trying put their ducks in a row before publicly announcing their true launch. I’m on a waiting mode.

At cost? What does that even mean
@SpencerWhitley27893Күн бұрын
@smtmcrsg means charging the driver what it cost, not at elevated rates, uber and Lyft are making money from charging drivers more for insurance than it cost them to buy the policy I'm sure

Sergio, Are you a partner in the company? Why on their website they don’t list the City’s that they have service in. As a passenger the website doesn’t even mention having service in the United States. They only show city’s in India. Very strange & confusing.

I tried inDrive in Miami not a fan. They include the tolls in the upfront offer. I can not possibly calculate if its a good fare. In my experience they take 30% of the offered fare. people rarely pay more than the suggested fare . Thus no better than Uber

Ok noted, someone will respond from the company, it's another tool in your toolbox

Interesting platform interface, thanks for the information... Choosing prices by driver and rider may sometimes help drivers to make more, but riders choosing names, faces, and vehicles gives me pause and opens the possibility to discrimination based on ethnicity of names, how pleasing your profile picture appears to a rider, and if your car is fancier than the next drivers'...

This happened in Australia indriver deployment instead of uber rate 25$ indriver would undercut the competition by offering 18$ ride to the airport
@polishpimp42332 күн бұрын
@@tehtron . A passenger paid 25.00 for an airport trip. I was paid 12.61 for that trip.. I only took it cause the airport is right next to the road that leads to my parents place as I was heading that direction,. Lyft paid me .50 a mile it was basically a roadie trip that was allowable since it was literally on the way to my destination. You best believe the algo punishes destination filters HARSHLY. That 18.00 trip on indrive at a 70 percent take rate is basically dead equal. I would do indrive at the same rate just to spite lyft and uber. Maybe then those 2 slave driving apps might actually stop with the obnoxious fees.
@brenttadams20182 күн бұрын
They have a great App, I just started with indrive
@rayanthony6865Күн бұрын
The app looks great but it’s not gonna work the only way this works is the driver has a meter the passenger pays the fare (distance and time any changes no problem Pay the meter) to the driver plus any tips in whatever method the passenger chooses cash or otherwise and the driver pays for dispatch service and insurance to the company… passenger pays upfront just like buying something in a store… same rate every ride everywhere every time… end of story
