FR42, Telegraph Line Road, Opening Day

Welcome back to the channel everybody. Saturday April 6th, 2024 was a huge day and a big win for the OHV community. While trails are being closed in other parts of the country, in Arizona, one was just re-opened. FR42. After being closed in 2005 after a wildfire, Kevin Patterson persistently asked that TRAL (Tonto Recreation Alliance) have a part in getting FR42 re-opened. Well, his persistence paid off and in 2014, work began. I don't know how many volunteer hours went into this project but over 10 years, I'm sure it was a lot. FR42 is a ONE WAY trail and will require a permit much like the one for Bulldog Canyon. Sadly, Kevin is no longer with us but, I will always think about FR42 as his baby. Thank you Kevin. What kind of rig do you need to make this?

A high clearance 4x4 with a rear locker which would be helpful and some decent articulation.

Great video. I’m gonna run this trail with the club on Dec 21. Do you adjust your seat from street to trail driving? I’ve noticed Joeseph leaning forward a lot. I adjust my seat and seat back from street to trail every time Ingo offroad. See ya soon. 🥸

Thank you! I don't adjust my seat for me but Joe obviously has too because he's just a little shorter. Also have my seat set up as high as it will go because it's low from the factory.
