Giannis alone can’t win the title, his teammates gotta step up
@forrest65514 жыл бұрын
Ppl don’t realize that Giannis is the only one in the league that gets a wall set up for him, despite how great lebron, and AD or even Embid, they don’t get the treatment Giannis gets in terms of when ppl are defending them. Bron didn’t win his 1s chip until he got superstar teammates which is what Giannis doesn’t have.
@Theo-fp2oe4 жыл бұрын
@@forrest6551 Lebron doesn't get that treatment because he's too good of a passer. He sees everything.
@forrest65514 жыл бұрын
Theo you don’t even understand what I’m saying, Giannis is that much of a threat to ever teams paint they deliberately leave his teammates open just so they can stop him or slow him down, doesn’t matter if he’s good or not at passing, which he is also good at playmaking. I don’t know why your so butt hurt, because he doesn’t get a wall in front of him.
@Theo-fp2oe4 жыл бұрын
@@forrest6551 No that's right I don't understand. I had a hard time following what you just wrote. Offcourse there is extra motivation to put up a wall. Giannis is the best player in open space. But there is also incentive to do so because his passing vission isn't bron level. If you don't believe me, go back n watch the Raptors series. Bron is also a force taking it to the rim. My point Is that you can't shift the whole d on bron because he will punish a shifted defence every time. His passing IQ is incredible. Historically, bron sides also have him surrounded by good shooting. Btw I don't even like bron. I'm a Giannis n bucks fan but I call it how it is.

The funny thing is that in FIBA competition - where there's less space, a center always in the paint, smaller area and closer help - he becomes way less intimidating. Like still really good, but his style really takes advantage of the NBA rules.

I don’t quite see the flexibility he was talking about especially relative to a guy with his dimensions . To me giannis is unique because he’s really strong but not bulky with great length.hes not stiff by any means but if you look a a guy like Ad with comparable size and length he’s not as fluid or flexible but a ton stronger and more skilled as far as handling the ball. Has more of that “run away freight train” to him because of his speed and strength but unlike say an amare stoudemire his frame isn’t as broadly built which allows him make nuanced moves while completely overpowering other big guys. Truly a freak to pack that type of force into a relatively slender build

J Kyle Mann: A fluid hand-obsess hoops junkie, who has a knack for iambic pentameter. His cool and cogent basketball analysis is surely to garner him some national attention at the next level. I think one day given the right opportunity he could launch himself into the stratosphere of hoops commentary. Mann has the tools to make it into that rarified air of the upper echelon of basketball commentary, it’s just a matter of time; let me know if you agree...
