The singers are Lori Lewis (soprano), Katarina Lilja (Curley hair) , Snowy Shaw (blonde with deep voice) and Mats Leven. Wikipedia will answer some of your questions about the band’s history.

Just a minor correction: alto soprano isn't a thing, these are two types of voice. In this case, Katarina is an alto and Lori is a lyric soprano.

My favorite Therion song is Adulruna Rediviva. The official video or live from Budapest. I’m really glad to see someone going down this Therion rabbit hole. Too many go straight to Nightwish or Epica and forget ( or don’t know about) the roots of symphonic metal.

Great reaction, guys... Christofer Johnsson!!! Remember this name, he is the genius that opened the "Pandora's box" by inventing the symphonic metal gender back in 1996 with the album "Theli"... For me the best composer of our time... My suggestion would be that you react to this whole album (masterpiece from the beginning to the end) that changed music for better (you have the whole album played live in the Budapest concert 2007, celebrating it's 10th anniversary). That would be a really amazing experience, I promise... Cheers from Spain and keep up with Therion, my friends...

Albums "Theli" (96) and "Vovin" (98) are symphonic metal milestones. Absolutely brilliant. They were never as heavy as Epica is. This song is one of their heaviest ones but in case of blending rock/metal with classics they are second to none. Listen to "Secret of the Runs" album and hear what sm should sound like. Or songs like "Voyage of Gurdjieff".

The singers were specifically picked, Therion always need a stratopherical soprano (here Lori), a second Lady for Mezzo/Alto, a High tenor male (for both Classical and metal parts) and a Bass (which in this case also did the growling and grunt parts) Therion is not a band to be performed by a single Singer, it takes a collective of voices to make their sound, for its often made up of a choir with soloists or even harmonics when its more of an "intimate" song
