Honestly, I do not understand why Mats would choose Candlemass over Therion. Nothing against the first, but listen to "The Perennial Sophia" LIVE and then "Psalms for the Dead" LIVE and draw your own conclusions. Mats and Katarina are the very soul of Therion IMHO.

Maybe you're right. I'd rather think Mats, being this talent GIANT, is also a professional musician on demand. Much like Steve DiGiorgio and his bass. If you're gonna make the best music, you've gotta have the best musicians, right? I just think Mats fits Therion perfectly, just like the previous bass choir vocalists back on "Vovin" and "Deggial". Not signing a contract with Mats is stupid, which I don't think Chris Johnsson is, far from that...

What is wrong with "psalms of the dead" live .?. It was an amazing performance and a great song in its own right. You do have a point though and it makes you wonder how some Candlemass songs would be like if they ever added a second voice to them (male of female), but those two bands cannot be compared. They are both legendary in their own kind of music.
