Therm A Rest NeoAir XLite Review | Worth the money? Lightweight Backpacking Sleeping Pad

I was doubting between this sleeping pad and the Therm-a-rest NeoAir Xtherm NXT. I tested them out today and they are top quality sleeping pads. Comfortable and lightweight. But pricey. They have different sizes, mummy, regular, wide, and large. I took a large size because it gives a lot of space to move around and the packing volume and weight is only about 50 gram difference

Yes, it’s really that good. It is by far the best pad available for the money, weight, r-value, compactness, durability. If you have the experience, one would know.

It is a really good pad indeed! And super durable. The only thing I would do differently is buy the wider version so my arms won’t fall off. Do you have the regular one as well?

Great review! I also have this mattress, I have 2 of them, the longer and the shorter version. I can understand your dislikes, but for me it's not that much of an issue. I usually sleep alone in my tent and on my side, so less of a problem, but when I can, I do take a bigger mattress! 😉 Have a great weekend! Kaat

Blowing into a sleeping pad is a great way of shortening its life.

@@Hikaholics Because your breath contains a ton of moisture (far more than in the air we breathe), and that moisture can quickly lead to mildew inside the pad, which is impossible to treat. That's why you should always use either the stuff-sack inflator most of these pads come with these days or an electric pump.
