This is awesome! Didn't know there's a Trekanten Hiking Route in Trollheimen too, just like in the Rondane Mountains. Hope to walk them both🙂

Nothing worse than climbing in a wet tent with wet gear at the end of a wet day 😅 I think the lovely warm and dry cabin was absolutely the right call! I love the river canyons on this trail 🤗
@Hikaholics4 күн бұрын
So true!! It was the best choice to sleep in the cabin and dry all our stuff. Have you ever been to the Mullerthal region?
@daphne84064 күн бұрын
@@Hikaholics No I have never been to that area but it looks lovely, even with the rain ☺️ We live in Norway and go hike/camping often during the summer, but there are also many rainy days here in summer 😅

Is it good to use this one in mountains about 3000m in spring, autumn in Dolomites?
@Hikaholics4 күн бұрын
The comfort temperature of this sleeping bag is -6celsius. So it really depends on the weather, your sleeping system set up (like the R value of your sleeping pad) and if you sleep in a tent or the mountain huts. So there are a lot variables 😊

Nice video. I did the Mullerthal-trail 2 and 3 in summer 23. Amazing, very beautiful... and even when I was there in August it rained a lot. That's why it is so beautiful and green there 😊. Really one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Europe! Enjoying your videos..😍

Hey, such amazing content with such valuable information!! We are visiting Chamonix in the last week of December. Was wondering if it was better to get the multi day passes beforehand( considering its Dec and it's peak travel season) or do you suggest getting it right there on spot?Also, can all the 3 places be covered on the same day? Keep up the great work. Your videos are such a reference to a lot of our travel :)
@Hikaholics12 күн бұрын
Thanks! Chamonix in December is incredibly beautiful! You can buy it easily on the spot at the first stop but you can also buy it beforehand (your preference). Yes we did this in one day as well. Just make sure you take the first possible cable car up :) Enjoy Chamonix!

May I ask what month of year you hiked? considering going mid June, and concerned if that's too early in the season for the Karwendel High Trail. Thank you!
@Hikaholics12 күн бұрын
We were here at the end of the season around aug/sept. It really depends on the amount of snow that is left from the winter season. But since its not that high, we think mid june will be a great time to hike there. Just check at the huts to make sure when they open for the season.

Mooie video! Ik had in februari graag eens de full trail gedaan, ik zou iemand meepakken maar die heeft niet veel ervaring met backpacken. Is deze trail mogelijk voor beginners die het niet gewoon zijn om meerdere dagen na elkaar te wandelen? Groetjes
@Hikaholics12 күн бұрын

Hey! This was a great hike in spite of the rainy weather and the wet conditions. We enjoyed the woods, the creeks and the little waterfalls as well as the picturesque castles and little towns along the trail. Fortunately you found a comfortable and cheap hobbit cabin on this campsite where you could dry your gear and recover well. So you could do the second part of the hike in good condition. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Cheers and all the best, Christiane and Werner

I have this tour on my bucket list and I have the desire to do it, although I do not know whether a travel organization for people with intellectual disabilities organizes this kind of hut tour. I have been participating in organized trips for people with intellectual disabilities for 20 years. In addition, after my upcoming vacation I will first try out whether a hut tour suits me and if a hut tour suits me, I will propose this hut tour to a travel organization for people with intellectual disabilities. I do not know whether the travel organization in question also organizes hiking tours and hut tours with difficulty levels T3 and T4. According to Google, the classic route of TMB is difficulty level T3 and the alpine variant is difficulty level T4. So I will have to wait and see whether this is also feasible. I enjoyed your video. Thank you very much for uploading.

This is exactly the itinerary I wanted to do for my day trip to Chamonix. Just wanna know if u guys took any bus to get from one station to another? I checked that they are 10mins apart except for from Monteverse station to Planpraz (Le Berevent) which took more than 1km. I booked a bus to get back to Geneva by 5.15pm, I assumed it was all manageable by then?
@Hikaholics20 күн бұрын
Amazing! We did it al by foot. Every station is a 10 to 20 minute walk from each other. 5:15 is definitely manageable but def take the first possible cable car/train to your first stop.

Here are multiple GPS tracks for the entire route and also for every stage at his own. Hope this helps! And most of all, enjoy the trail!

Wow! Thanks for the beautiful video. This just inspired me to go do this trail with a friend in two weeks. What routes would you recommend if we only have three days of hiking but want to cover a good distance? I appreciate your time!
@HikaholicsАй бұрын
Hi!! Thank you so much, keep an eye out on our channel because we will be uploading seperate more detailed videos about all routes. If you only have a few days we would definitely recommend route 2. That was the most spectacular one. And than route 3. Route 1 was the route we liked the least to be honest. So depending on the lengths you can hike definitely route 2 and maybe partially route 3. There is a really good (and free!) public transport system in Luxembourg. So you will get around pretty easily. If you have more specific questions about the trail it is best to send us an email ([email protected]) since KZbin comments sometimes get a bit lost 🙈 Hope this helps! And enjoy the trail!
