Thanks Jeremy, I am about to install a 2010 model 5 burner Thermador cooktop for a friend. I just replaced all the burner tubes and serviced the igniters. Without the gas supply connected while I am bench testing it, the igniters click continuously (with a spark between the igniter post and the burner cap) no matter what position the burner valve is in - just open all the way to fully open. I think from your video that the igniter switches off once it senses that the gas has been ignited. On the 2010 model, only the individual igniter is activated by each burner valve. Fingers crossed.

Do you remember _where_ you found the burner assignment for the re-igniter? (e.g. - channel 1->LF, channel 2->LR, ...)... I _think_ you said you had found it at AppliancePartsPros - but I haven't had luck finding it for 5-burner setup... Great video, btw. THANK YOU.

Hi, I have a Thermador PRG304 range that I want to convert from NG to LP. Is this possible and if so, what part do I need?

Hello Jeremy, I have called 5 different vendor to come and fix this issue and everyone says they do not want to do this job. Can you share how you opened this top and side to access the controls under the burner. I might have to do this myself. Appreciate your help

Hi Guru. It's pretty easy. There is one bit that's a bit involved. Once you remove the gas burners (as if you were going to clean the cooker top) you need to unscrew the brass collar on each of the six burners. I use a small adjustable wrench to fit the collars and then another wrench to twist the smaller wrench to get them off. After that, the top of the cooker is easy to access.

Where did you find Reigniter Module and other parts.

In video at 4:09, you turn on the CF burner and hear clicking, but it didn't light. I noticed the RF burner was igniting. After watching again for other burners, it seems the RF always sparks no matter which one you try to light.

Hi Mark. All the igniters spark together. Gas is only sent to the one you want to light. The ignition system works, but it must be a poor design because the gas often does not ignite.

Nice vid. Can you help me to find the tool to remove the brass ring? I have been looking around for a while and cannot find it. Thank you

Hi Manolo. Thanks. Regarding the brass rings. I sprayed with penetrating oil and left for 24 hours. I then used two adjustable wrenches. A small one was used to fit into the grooves in the brass ring (I had to hold it almost vertically). I then used the second, larger, adjustable wrench to lock onto the (vertical) handle of the smaller wrench. I could then turn the smaller wrench/nut with the larger. I didn't hurry and it worked perfectly. Hope this helps you.

Nice job ,can you show us how you got access to the inside (from the front) please, thanks
@jlmainusa4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Access was pretty straightforward. There are screws at the bottom left (and right) of the front panel as you look at the cooker. Look at the panel containing the rotary burner controllers, then look under that at edges. Once you remove those screws you can disassemble, You pull the black rotary controls off. Make sure to turn off power before you go inside.
