The USA had extremely tight manufacturing and export regulations on thermal imaging. In the past, only US manufacturers made thermal imagers and they were limited on the resolution and refresh rate allowed (to avoid them being purchased and used militarily). Chinese manufacturers have now (I think since 2021?) started manufacturing their own thermal imagers and they aren't beholden to US laws.

I noticed the hot areas leaves a ghost mark on the image. Is there a way to clear it ? Does it take time to disappear ?

Hi kris great vid anyone here ever heard about 4090s crashing while loading into windows and blackscreening , even while gaming my pc completely restarts or crashes with no bluescreen i undervolted , underclocked turned the power target down nothing helped tryed my old gpu and i got no problemes whats so ever , when i change to my 4090 the pc gives me instant blackscreen and crashes while gaming , i even change psu , ram and mainboard bec i thought something gotten damaged over time , maybe the ram on my 4090 is damaged idk i hope someone here knows anything about it. thanks for any help.

Bin gerade auf der Suche nach einer leistbaren Wärmebildkamera! Tolles Video. Danke! Ich versuche mich gerade daran Elektronik zu reparieren. 👍 Bisher war ich eher in defekter Mechanik zuhause. Allerdings als Hobby weil es mir Spaß macht. Und nicht auf dem Level wie Du das machst. Meist eigene Geräte von mir oder Freunden und Familie. Ich glaube ich werde am Primeday über deinen Link zuschlagen um dich zu unterstützen. Ich hoffe der Link ist affiliate. Vielleicht kannst Du ja mal ein Video darüber machen, wie man Kurzschlüsse findet oder misst. Wann man wo messen muss oder Spannung bzw. Strom einprägt. Wäre richtig lehrreich. 👍 Vielleicht gibt es dazu ja schon Videos die mir jemand empfehlen kann?

I am just looking for an affordable thermal imaging camera! Great video. Thanks! I'm trying to fix electronics right now. 👍 So far I am more into defective mechanics. However, as a hobby because I enjoy it. And not at the level you are doing this stuff. Mostly my own devices or from friends and family. I think,I will hit the offer at primeday via your link to support you. I hope its a affiliate link. Maybe you can do a video on how to find or measure short keys. When to measure where or put voltage or current on the PCB. Would be really educational. 👍 Maybe there are already videos on YT that someone can recommend to me?
