My wife when she was about eight, burned the back of her hand on her grandfather's grill. She was barelling around the house, and she smacked straight into the edge of the plate with the back of her hand. Her grandmother soaked her hand in ice-water, (bad idea!!!!) and put aloe vera innards on the worst of the blisters (good idea, great idea in fact.) The aloe vera helped her skin not to scar.

In reference to managing electrocution risk, if you know EMS will not be able to respond quickly and you are safe to assist, using a non conductive material such as a wooden broom handle can be very helpful in detaching an injured person from an electrified area (so, for example, a pool of water with a live wire). Rubber soles on shoes and gloves have saved lives, stay careful and safe folks, hope no one has to deal with this, but, if you ever do, make sure you don't become the next casualty.

One time when I was little I accidentally Stuck my hand in the wood burning fire pit it was a deep one so when I was changing when I was little I accidentally did that their was no ambulance around so my dad gave me an ice pack that hurt like hell
