@@ArcanusLibero What does the extra refresh rate give you? or am i missing some other factor between the tm10 and the tm15?

@@M_White_VA As I understand it: The refresh rate is essentially how long the processor relies on log data before beginning a complete rescan. It is not technically accurate but it is the best description I have. A slow refresh rate suffers from a glitch in the matrix. When it updates it sometimes looks a little different all of a sudden. I hope that helps. My point on the compromise is that unless you are using it in a dynamic environment it makes little sense to make a purchase over refresh rate in my mind. The difference between a 800$-$1000 unit and a $5000 unit is light year but around the $1000 range clarity of image is the bang for the buck...even when it lags a little.

Would this be a decent supplement for straight up night vision? My friend and I want to do urban exploration without needing detectable sources of vision. Would you say this is good enough for navigating the woods at night?

My understanding is you can't view your pics or video taken, from the unit itself. I have done it if I take the pic/video using the app on my phone. One guy replied to my inquiry and said you could, questioning if the unit I bought from Amazon, was a knock off.?

The AGM Taipan TM10-256 does not have the capability of play back. The only way to play it back is using another device for example tablet, computer, phone, exactly like you described when you used your phone. Hope this helps

What distances were you spotting at?
@troypalmer6426 Жыл бұрын
The 2 deer at the beginning were at Approx 75 yards away. The hogs in the woods were at Approx 40 yards and the last hog was at Approx. 25 yards. I have used this to spot animals over 100 yards. Its a great tool.
