I've used HY-510 for years on multiple CPUs (R9-3900X, R7-5700X and R7-5800X3D), directly on an APU die (A8-3500M) and directly on a GPU die (RX 580 2048SP). The stuff just works and it's DIRT CHEAP. I just bought 300g of it for less than $25CAD. Tom's Hardware did a huge test of thermal pastes and the difference between what could be called "the best" and what could be called "the worst" was a paltry 7.2°C across 85 different pastes from 33°C to 40.2°C after 2 hours of running the Prime95 CPU torture test. Unless you're some extreme competitive overclocker, buying expensive thermal paste is about as smart and as useful as using a 36mm AIO on a 65W CPU for gaming (not in the least).

For the CPU with a low TDP, I advise GD900-1. For the high TDP, TGP of the CPU, GPU PTM7950, and for the vrams and power section (vrm) thermal putty Upsiren UX Pro.

just bought like a syringeful and a small cup of it, been using my pc for years only realizing it doesnt have thermal paste. how is it still alive 😭

@@leviathantube 2 роки HY510 лишається м'якою і не висихає повністю навіть після 3 років - я стер її сухою серветкою. Але все ж основний її плюс, це дуже низька ціна.

Artic can go for a very long run. Mx2 only. not mx4, 5 or 6 they are waterly.
