Now that the sensors on some visual lcd infrared tools have become cheaper... Can you shoot a video on infrared thermal cameras and what features to look for?

I was thinking about this 10 minutes ago, how do I mesure my solder iron temperature . And heres a video about it. First thing I see when I enter KZbin. Universe is strange

Make sure your thermocouple can handle the temps. Many of the cheaper ones only go to 300°C or there abouts.

As others are saying, a great tutorial ( as usual ) James - thank you ! I suppose that thermocouples go where heat guns can't, such as inside pottery kilns to regulate the heat - if a kiln cools too fast, the glaze on the pots cracks... I'm trying to guess why James sleeps wearing a mask ? Anyway, an enlightening introduction !
