amazing diy details and build! there's only exhaust fans? no intake?
@TekTherapy7 ай бұрын
Hey! Thx for watching and liking the build. It was setup mostly like this for aesthetic reasons. The Toughfans just look nicer this way for the video! But generally i did a few benchmarks (AIDA/Superposition) and the difference in temps when switching the bottom fan over the psu to intake was minimal (under 3 Deg difference) The GPU get´s air from the left side and the hot air get´s sucked out on top, the AIO (420mm) pushes the hot air out thru the Radiator on the right side. Left over heat (VRM´s / NVME) is sucked out thru the top as well. As well the Thermaltake Guide actually has the same setup with only the difference that the Fan on the PSU shroud is intake. In normal gameplay the CPU was sitting between 55-60 deg / GPU 60 in Performance Bios / 66 in Silent Bios.

What's the thoughts between painting on the gold accent vs using good quality vinyls? I guess the worry with the vinyls would be peeling, but with the paint you have the risk of it being more vulnerable to chipping or not going on smoothly?
@TekTherapy4 ай бұрын
Vinyls would be fine as long is they are good quality ones that are uv-resistant. For paint i agree, there is always the problem of chipping but we could argue you could always do a clear-coat layer. A few years back when we did more indepth mods i still had more space and a flatbed uv printer. This is for me the best method because the uv-prints i did are still not degraded on the cases even after years.

Look up how to lock camera on an object in post. It’s fairly simple, and would give you the desired effect. Nice build, waiting for my 300 to arrive.
@TekTherapy3 ай бұрын
Hi! Didn´t really get what you are referring to? Since you didn´t mention any specific sequence in the video. Glad you like the built though!
@acidbunny9993 ай бұрын
@@TekTherapy the part where you move the camera when an object moves, like closing the case etc. You can set it in post so that the camera locks on the object and looks like it's moving with it. Nothing wrong you did there, im just saying that theres a way to make it "cooler". It's called stabilization effect or warp stabilizer, depending on the software you use. Anyways, don't listen me :D
@TekTherapy3 ай бұрын
Almost all shots are stabilised with warp stabiliser. Especially the motorised shots (Dolly / Jib). But what you are referring to is an "creative" choice on our side. I actually don´t like the "tiktok" effect in our videos to lock down objects to make them move with them. Never was a fan of that. But really do appreciate the suggestion! Not new to this game been editing for about 20 years back than still on DV cameras. But really appreciate the suggestion!

I just got this case for my new build not long ago.. and I love it.. But I never hear people talk about the hard angle you have to put your cables into in order to get them plugged into your IO ports.. I'm driving 4 monitors, so I've got an HDMI and 3 display ports, and with the amount of strain on them, i'd really be surprised if this case doesn't end up being responsible for breaking the ports off my gpu.

Can a M2 with a heatsink fit in the M2 slot under GPU?
@TekTherapy6 ай бұрын
No not really.. you gotta stick with the original heatsink/cover which should be enough for most NVME´s anyway. As well the next generation of Gen5 NVME SSD´s don´t use the Phison controller (that is currently super hot). There is a new chipset coming so some Gen5´s will run cooler than even current Gen4 SSD´s i talked to a few brands about this at Computex. On the other hand the X670 Gene has a carrier board with more than sufficient cooling for another Gen5 SSD.

@@thso6529 ASUS is acutally pretty vague about this. The 2_1 is Gen5 x4. In my inital speedtests the TG Z540 ran at full speed in the slot.
