Nice presentation! I first came across the Legendre transform in Thermodynamics without an explicit reference to what it entailed. "A graphical derivation of the Legendre Transform" by Sam Kennerly (12 April 2011) and "Making sense of the Legendre transform" by Zia, Redish & McKay, American Journal of Physics, vol. 77, (7), July 2009 present enlightening discussions on the Legendre Transform.

The worst thing about this channel is that there is no ordering of videos.. In which order should I watch the thermo videos?

Hello. Thanks for your comments, and sorry the videos are not ordered. Making the playlist is on my to-do list. The problem is that my to-do list is very long, and I never get around to it. Here is an old website for my course, with some suggested orders to watch the videos. I hope this helps: gtribello.github.io/mathNET/AMA4004.html

@@gtribello Dear Gareth, Basic layout of your classical thermo lectures is amazingly good. Esp. because you did away with "entropy is disorder" crap and introduced a parallelism between CM and Thermo, which made mental picturing very easy. I beg you to order your videos. I was seriously saddened when I saw the low hit numbers. By the way, thank you very much. A few concepts which I havent understood properly are understood now.

@@gtribello I would second the other opinion expressed in the comments. Even though the site has all the videos in order, it would still help a great deal to build three KZbin playlists with the videos. People surfing KZbin for classes are used to playlists. Once they find the playlist, they can then find the web site, with all the hadouts, and diagrams relating the various subjects.
