My professor never game is the T1/T2= P2r/P1r relation, it isn’t even in my book after skimming. I assumed constant specific heats and used the K=cp/cv and the isentropic +ideal gas formulas to find T2, I was 0.6 percent off from your solutions. Close enough I say… my prof loves to approximate stuff it seems, doubt he’d care. So many assumptions already in engineering, what’s one more? Lol.

Is there a video for isentropic efficiency for r134a vapor compression cycle? .... involving heat pumps

at 8.04 why the adiabatic efficiency equal to 0.8?

It said in the problem statement that the adiabatic efficiency is 80 percent

Wouldn't the final answer be negative since it is a power input into the compressor?

Most thermo books will say Q-W= delta E, and denote “work out” as positive. But I like to say Q+W= delta E and denote “work in” as positive.
