In around 480 BC at the battle of Thermopylae, the army of the city state of Sparta, held off the Persian army lead by Xerxes; said to possibly have as many as 2 million men. The Spartans only numbered 300.

This Xerxes, or Sexrex. Imagine if in real life he would have existed, but not as a King of an empire, but of 'his own.' When he was a kid, he got punched in his throat, and ever since he has such badass voice. (Lol just a fantasy.) He is super-ultra-mega rich and wealthy. Has many wives and friends. Sometimes with his best friends hangs out with prostitutes. Has a few kids. He has a huge house. Always; makes huge parties with huge tables with lots of food, and organizes feasts , and always invites everyone. He has very strong connections to the Hollywood, and local authorities. He has multiple real estates around the world. Also he has a bunker underneath his home, and a bit of weapons. He has a huge collection of stylish clothes and cars. His favourite thing is sex, money, and food. He cooks all the best food, and has sex 3 time a day. His little children already know all the swearing words, and he is super happy about it. Sometimes he would scream, swear, and take a pistol , and shoot, and yell words like : "I want to sink in this gold and chocolate forever!!! I will never be sick of my luxurious life!!!! " He is the biggest dog the world has ever seen- he pays women to do all kinds of plastic surgeries to make their bodies nearly perfect. Super cool SEXREX!

Seeing this in an IMax theater was so much better. Each footstep from Xerxes pounded with deep bass as he walked and deep low reverberation when he spoke. The sound reverberated through the entire theater. It really added to the experience of watching this movie. That sound wasn't replicated in the home versions.
@spdewertton Жыл бұрын
Do they mix the sound differently for iMax releases? If not, all you need to replicate that effect is a good hometeather. And you may need to boost the bass up a bit. Then again, I have a decent setup here and his steps on this clip don't sound like they'd create that effect. So maybe the iMAX version was different, or the bass got crushed by KZbin compression.

Jesus Saves Well, 1st you have the archers or bodyguards for Xerxes watching with their bows from above. One sleight hostile move from Leonidas would probably be fatal and without success regarding killing Xerxes before he is dead himself. 2nd, the meeting with Xerxes was Xerxes' wish to discuss the matter you hear in the video. Leonidas is a king himself and grants this so they can talk from one king to another. Kings in that era just don't do the slick-wayed kills to another king. Honor and dignity stops them. Especially if you consider the past between these two that just wouldn't make sense.

Sometimes with his best friends hangs out with prostitutes. Has a few kids. He has a huge house. I can't help but smile at Leonidas's "You clearly don't know our women" line. Spartan women enjoyed a great deal more rights than the average Greek lady, including the right to own land and inherit it from fathers, mothers, husbands or siblings. They were traditionally married at 18 (Very old by other nation standards at the time) and had the right to divorce. Spartan women even carried small knives with them at all times, just in case a man got a little too frisky with her against her will. It was considered a mark of shame to carry a thin scar on your face, with the knowledge that it was put there by a woman defending herself. They could also compete in sporting events and were known to wear VERY short skirts, but that's neither here nor there.
