I got 67:19, but I am quite drunk right now. A tip for this software.. if you click and hold on a square on a thermo, it highlights all cells at the same point in every thermo, So with the thermos in the top right, you could long click on the second square and type in 234 into both at the same time for example. Good luck with the channel Kathy

Couldn't be simpler. The thermos are constrained, as is the arrow (allowing the break-in)... and the diagonal disambiguates. Completed in (a sedate) 15m07s.

PS. The software allows you to highlight cells on thermos (etc.) that have the same properties. If you hold the mouse on r1c8 it should also highlight r2c9 (as both of them are the second cell along a 7 cell thermo). This allows you to pencil in multiple cells simultaneously.

Good job on making it through this one, Kathy! This is a puzzle that I feel does benefit from more pencil marking than I would usually do, though at the same time I try to not do too much, as it can hide some of the logic that needs to be seen. While tricky, I found my way through it pretty well and finished in 14:32 (conflict checker off), so many thanks to kuraban for a really wonderful puzzle! The interaction between the various constraints to help 'lock down' where certain digits could go makes it obvious why it's called 'Pincer'. 🙂
