I really appreciate your video. I have a Thermos inverted lantern. With same pump fuel cap assembly. I couldn't get it working. Stole pump assembly from a junk KookKamp stove that was collecting dust . Inverted working fine now. OCP sells a oring repair kit with 3 or four O-rings Enjoy all your videos

My pop was the spokane area thermos repair station thru 60's thru80 a friend was thermos sales then. I had a 2 mantle blow up in use from the foot valve seal. I have the thermos cabinets full of seals generators early coleman oem parts

I have a thermos Inverted Lantern that has the same pump/ filler. I know I replaced at least three o rings on it out of the four that’s on it. There is no check valve like the Coleman’s have but is rather done with a spring. Take something long with a small diameter and put it in the bottom of the tube and push on it that will push out the bottom and reveal the small o ring on the bottom it’s spring loaded so you have to keep pushing on it to keep it out and take a pick to get the old one out and just put a new one back in it’s place. It’s the same piece that you showed of your dads only the o ring on his was popping out of the bottom of his just push on that center part from the inside and it will push it out enough to get to the o ring. I hope this makes sense lol. There is I video on KZbin that shows how to get to all of the o rings but the fourth one is a bit more work to get to. I would just try just replacing the three easy ones before trying to take it apart like the video and see if that fixes it.

Nice lantern , burns great . May be the check valve is suppose to have some type of seal in it . Also use real oil not WD . Check the internet for info .

I really like the look of the Thermos lanterns , although I don’t have any yet . Hope yo will run across one at a good price one of these days and pick it up . I think I’ve got enough Coleman lanterns to keep me busy for a while 😂

What about freezing or heating the pump, possibly dislodging the residue that is clogging it? Then running more cleaner through it? Ty for the vids...

I viewed this on Friday then went to lake for the weekend and have no internet,phone or tv. Now I can a comment on Sunday. You need to watch Thorttle Twister Cycles video on the 8326. He also sells o-rings and tool, cheap. There are 4 o-rings in pump. Also I know you live in Iowa but how close to KC?

There is a video on youtube on how to take the check valve apart. The guy even sells an oring kit on ebay for these lanterns
