Is it a Diamond Washer like on the 2.3 and 2.5? No Keyway on the Crank? I haven't done it yet on the 1.5T. What can you tell me? I have done the 2.3.

@@torquespec9345 yes sir, the crankshaft pulley, timing belt drive gear and both camshaft pulleys are NOT keyed at all. Its a trap.

Hi @TheMone4000! Thanks Man! I really appreciate the feedback. The whole purpose of the video was to help others and maybe a little $. I haven't done another one of these yet. Please tell me, Did you do it all from the top? What did I do that you did NOT have to do? I hope the video gave you enough information to avoid half of what I did. Thanks Again My Friend!!!

What did you do to loosen the nut since there’s no space for a socket or deep socket?
@torquespec934521 күн бұрын
I'd like to help but I need more information. Which Nut?
@KayXolani21 күн бұрын
@@torquespec9345 The one connected to the thermostat itself
@torquespec934516 күн бұрын
@@KayXolani Yeah the actual removal of the Thermostat is headache. Remove the nut from the stud then remove the stud. The thermostat housing and the stud come out together. For further clarification please watch the video.

try a wrench? Open End if need be. There's a tool to do it. Watch the video to see what I did.
