This restaurant is my favorite restaurant with my friends and seniors and juniors in school. Until 30 years ago, charcoal was still used for cooking. This restaurant is opposite the art school where I studied. There were only cooks who were older. The atmosphere in the restaurant is still the same as when I was studying. My usual table is either on the pole next to the cook with the blue umbrella or the table next to the stove. When I was still studying Behind the cook there is a jukebox for placing coins. I'll sit next to the jukebox or next to the stove to cook.

But from this video I think it's better that there is less oil than when I was young. We will call this restaurant "Jae Restaurant". The word JAE is a Chinese word used to refer to an older sister or an older woman. We are very close to her family. Because we come to eat every day, all day and all night. So close that you eat first and pay later. Some people have accounts that are months past due. When I was a student there was both food and alcohol. Most of the things we usually ask to eat first and pay later are alcohol and food eaten with alcohol. Because we are still students, sometimes we may not have money that day but will pay it the next day or pay the total amount at once for a month.

@@theroamingcook If talking about deliciousness I will rate 7/10. Because I am Thai, I am familiar with general Thai food. If it's a made-to-order restaurant. Thai people measure the quality of this type of restaurant by the Pad Krapao menu. The best Pad Krapao is a dry stir-fried dish. But because this restaurant uses a lot of oil in almost every menu, it makes it too greasy. But in those days when I was a child. We didn't think about deliciousness. At that time, only the students in my department had at least 30-40 people coming to eat at a time. There are more tables where you sit. There are 2 rows across from you. And beside the cooking stove, there were tables all over the street. In summary, during school hours there will be no less than 40 customers, constantly changing. And some tables will continue to drink alcohol after eating until morning. My friends and I used to drink there until morning as well. The point of coming to this restaurant is not the deliciousness but the bond that exists from my seniors to my juniors. later after my generation The school has issued a rule prohibiting eating at this restaurant. Because there was often drinking and quarrels. We're not the only ones who come to eat here.

There are more delicious restaurants in that area. From the side of the alley with the blue umbrellas, turn left and you'll find ran khao kaeng (various types of rice and curry poured over rice). This restaurant is very delicious, but I'm not sure if it's still there. And from the alley where you sit and eat, walk straight until you see a small alley on the right where there is a very delicious duck noodle shop as well. Which I don't know if it's still there. It was more than 30 years ago.
