wow this interview was so encouraging. I was also writting some notes down. It was so helpful!! Also to know that everyone deals with something, like fears. I love his music so much!! What Brandon starts talking about at 16:00.. I’m sorry but that is what most of the black community does without any shame or thought. I know some people who are willing to put in the mental work to abolish that subtle behavior but a lot of people in the Black Community don’t do that. They think they are entitled to preference discrimination. On principle, they MIGHT be.. but it doesn’t move us any further along & sorry but it’s hypocritical. Racism is still very much alive, in many communities. Not even just black & white. We have come so far.. and fulfilled much of Martin Luther Kings dreams.. but we still have a ways to go.
