I find the differences between Obunga and the Smiler really cool tbh Obunga is slow compared to the Smiler (though fast enough to keep pace at your max speed), but is completely silent and can therefore sneak behind (or in front of) you without you noticing The Smiler, on the other hand, is extremely fast and can reach you almost instantly, the only downside being that it's extremely loud (even then, the noise would probably scare you so much that you rely entirely on reflexes) The problem with the Smiler being insta-death can be solved too, it could either disappear after a few seconds or take a chunk of your health and teleport away imagine a video with both of them

I personally dont like this bot simply because it's impossible to actually run away from it. Nextbots always know where you are and the fun part of it comes from you using your environment to escape from it and the adrenaline rush from that, but with this bot it's impossible to run, it not only knows where you are all the time but it's also faster then you

Smiler guide to survive: 1.flickers =run for your life as fast as you can 2. Keep on jumping while sprinting to make him miss cuz he's very fast as fuck 3. Hiding won't work cuz he has infinite awareness it means he know where you are from infinite miles 4.when you hear breaking and doors getting crushed means his near(especially with maps with lots of props

@@salt-d2032 nextbots will teleport if you move even when they get stuck in a high place They are super intelligent, they are programmed to know where you are even though you are super far away So everything is just futile except for noclipping or turning corners Also you are using ‘genesis’ map which rogurt doesnt use for his nextbot videos They use it just for fun Also there’s no ‘platform plate thingy’ on the ceiling most of the map, which means it’s easy to avoid nextbots If you use behavior that you did in your video in the map that rogurt uses, then you are just dead

It's too fast. I personally don't get any tension, because first you have no chance of escape or delay, and also because I don't have time to build up tension. If it automatically dissapeared after a few seconds of chase, it would help lots. A chance of survival, however slim, will always get more involvement.

I agree, the idea of having the smiler get incredibly close but just disappear since they failed to reach you within a time limit makes it scarier since it means now it could be anywhere, maybe even behind you but just far away, but they can still reach you again at any point

The hissing and it’s blinding speed is what gives the tension. You know it’s coming for you, yet you know you can’t do anything as you try, in vain, to close doors, jump obstacles, as you hear the hissing get closer. You turn around and the last thing you see is a big ass black dude

What I find mostly terrifying about the Smiler Nextbot is how it moves so erratic, you notices it never goes towards you unlike other Nextbots and the Smiler can sometimes retract away or go full speed into you. I also get chills hearing the sound this nextbot emits. It's impossible to predict it's movements with that insane speed and erratic behavior. I find it more scary than Obunga (No Sounds).

What’s cool about this mod is that if you have the smiler speed set faster then your running speed, it acts less aggressive and will only attack you if you go near it, turn away from it or run away.

You should play with the accurate Smiler AI, it teleports through out the map and tries to jumpscare you instead of just running towards you 24/7. It's really fun cuz it forces you to be really REALLY weary of corners. Running while close to one is dangerous, not keeping eye contact is dangerous, and flashlights can make them mad. It's actually quite fun.

I love the fact that unlike Obunga, the Smiler has a couple of tells when it's nearby, but it's so absurdly fast that any warning before it finds you is pretty much meaningless since you aren't outrunning that thing, it's pretty much a jumpscare warning over anything else. While Obunga has finesse and prefers to hunt you like a predator does its prey and will occasionally give you a dose of hopium that you can get away, the Smiler is erratic and just overwhelms you with terrifying speed that's completely inescapable.
