But Lucy chose UC work and much worse than that could happen, so it's either "take it or leave it" and there's no place for trauma issues. If she wasn't ready, she could be killed this time. No reason to feel sorry, Nyla was testing her before anything real could happen and Lucy was 100 % safe in this test. Out there in the real job, she wouldn't be so lucky if she failed.

So basically for anyone who doesn't know the girl who doesn't have the tape around her mouth her name is Lucy and before she got kidnapped by someone named Caleb and it was super traumatic for her because she got buried underground alive in the middle of the desert and they couldn't find her for a while so this scene is really traumatic for her but it also tests her strength because now she's a good undercover cop and knows what to say in situations like this. This show name is called the rookie It's a really really good show you guys should watch it
