It can't be revenge when it's totally a different tournament altogether. WXV's is played every year. The RWC every 4 years. It is also the highest pinnacle in rugby. We can't say a win in the WXV's equals the RWC.

Women's rugby WAS boring as bat$h1t, Red Roses were dominant but it was the same boring line out, maul game plan. Fast forward to the Word Cup and there was dynamic play, there was great skill sets on display, there were personalities on display, to the point it seemed like the whole of NZ was supporting the game and Black Ferns. It was a better product, game and experience than the mens game. If there were more games like that WC final, the sky's the limit for the game!
