There are two people I saw do a coinless run that hit a roadblock at the start of world 5 for one reason; They counted purple coins (for obvious reasons), and thus didn't have any. One of them ended the run there while the other went back to 1-1 and got one of the 10 coins.

Maybe it's the shared lives in this game, but I feel like Tim has been shining more than some other Mario playthroughs. At very least he's not taking himself seriously and having fun, but there are plenty of times where he's the one solving the puzzle or knows what's going on. At least more so than something like Mario Wii.

15:00 I remember completely missing this part on my first play through. Heck, I'm pretty sure I missed this entire level until after I beat the game, so I was caught so off guard seeing this return in the final level all like "When was King Boo in this game?"

Hey it’s a goomba power up which reminds me of the goomba sub power up thing from super mario 3D world where you could use it to walk past enemies without them attacking you (2 things I’ll always remember about super Mario 3D world is Masae talking about claustrophobic peach and Jon saying how bowser takes advantage of peach’s claustrophobia and locks her in cages and then Emile saying he listens to Jon and if Jon tells Emile to get in a corner he’ll get in that god damn corner, they are small but hilarious moments in my opinion)

It’s my personal favorite they’ve ever done. Highlights include Tim’ “secret” burp and Jon being offended by the tiny toons parody. On the goomba mask I remember during SGB’s play through how Elliot had the mask and John, not knowing it was Elliot, tries to kill him, it wasn’t help that Elliot was tiny Luigi which made it look more like a regular goomba.

Nobody here but us Goomba shaped trees. lol Good grief though, those Hellblinder (?) salamander inspired enemies are more terrifying than the giant Cheep Cheep swimming after you in MP3's Cheep Cheep Chase. Yes, lucahjin's name for Goombella "Miss No Arms" makes an appearance! King Boo also makes an appearance; his Wonder Flower musical is nothing compared to the Phantom Rabbid, but we can't all be "musical masters of sick hero burns".

So i have a funny story about this coin room at 10:30. When I played this game I played through it with my brother and when we got to this room he told me he can get the coin. He jumped for it and missed but, he was close enough that the flower started talking. Because he missed the jump, it sounded like the flower was being sarcastic when it said "Nice".

How on earth did Chugga actually finish this on his own? How everyone is doing: Jon - very good, especially considering the horrible camera mechanic Josh - competent, doing better than Chugga despite having never played past world 4, definitely holding the mantle of Blue Toad with aplomb Tim - pretty bad, but that's honestly the usual fare if the game isn't pre-GameCube, plus he barely played the game before so he gets a pass Chugga - bad, especially considering he rushes to get the camera, seriously, the game's not that hard, how on earth did he manage to finish on his own (even though he didn't 100% it) if he is this bad at easy levels
