You don't need a range finder with the VSD scope! The ramped lines with numbers above them on the left of the cross hair are the range finder 🙂 you put the long horizontal line at the feet of your human target, and whichever short line matches the top of their head is your range!

With as much as you play dayz, you should make a sound board to play through your microphone when others players are near by. It could be clipped zombie noises so they dismiss you as a zombie not a player. Could be a real edge in catching people off guard or getting away from someone after you. And to my knowledge, no one has ever done it before.

Hey Paul not sure if you’ll see ribs but at 36:50 you mentioned wanting a range finder for the fight, the numbers at the bottom left (and bottom of other PSO scope) are a built in range finder, place your target, head to toes, in the corresponding slot and that’s roughly their range, you can do the same thing with the ACOGs but the only difference is the bars need to line up with your targets shoulders, hope that’s useful in future videos!

I know but that is a very concise description of how it works. I didn’t think that helped me with 3 running targets when I was at such a high elevation it would not give a true reading. I also wanted to range where they running to in 10secs not where they were. The PSO ranging only works well on flat ground with a standing target.
