I often have artists from back in the day pop in my head when hearing people like you singing , and this song did it too . I heard Spencer and Arlo Guthrie popped in my head , I could just hear Spencer singing the song called "The City Of New Orleans " , not saying he sounds like him , but something in his tone just made that pop into my head . Every spectator has the right to have his own preference, I mean what he likes the most. In the case of TRM, my favorite recording is "Wish You Were Here" - (Pink Floyd) Acoustic Cover by The Running Mates. On this recording I never got around to how Julie was hidden behind the microphone but I always knew that there was a great artist there, who sooner or later would reveal all her talent. I didn't have to wait long. Each new recording Julie is more uninhibited and with her partner and husband Spencer they form a sensational duo that I really like. One day I know that they will record a Brazilian song to please their audience even more, which is growing here in Brazil.
