I know the first version was priced similarly but £280 is a hard no for me. That’s absurdly expensive and it’s even worse when they cost $275 in the USA. Interesting, informative review though gents, cheers!

Keep in mind that US prices always seem comparatively low since it doesn’t include sales tax yet. UK and EU prices do include sales tax.

Can't wait to hear reviews after 100 miles. That soft foam deforms so much with every strike, it would be surprising if it is durable. I have the Pro 3 and Elite 1 and they work well enough for me.

I have been running in different carbon shoes and the only difference in them is the feeling of the ride. None of them makes you cross the finish line any faster. But for me I like having different shoes because it’s fun but I have stopped paying stupid price for shoes.

Keen to have a comparison with the Cielo X1. I'm considering these for my next marathon shoe. Currently training in the Cielo X1 which I'm enjoying, but concerned about the weight. Have raced in the Endorphin Pro 3's, and loved them, but feel I'm ready for something a little more "aggressive".
@colinmadbeast10 күн бұрын
Cielo X1 2.0 is quite a bit lighter than 1.0.

I absolutely love my elite V1 they worked out amazingly for me especially when I really want to kick in that high pacing keep it It just pushed you and pushed you and so far I'm at 200 miles in them and they're still going strong If anything they got better they got a little softer but not too soft to wear it kills the ride I'm hoping to try V2 and this softness isn't too soft for me

I’m a heel striker and a slower runner. I bottom out the Adidas Pro 4 when I heel strike. Is the Elite 2 going to bottom out in the same way? I weigh 160 lbs so I’m not overly heavy. Thoughts?

Sounds like you may overstride to me. Otherwise it might just be the plate giving you that sensation

@@TomCantu-q2xI'm getting back into running too and constantly have to remind myself to quicken my cadence (while keeping my pace slow to keep my HR down). When i fatigue i tend to overstride.

With the constant terrible and unpredictable weather in the uk, I will stick with puma, no point in paying that amount of money and having to worry about the grip on anything other than perfect surfaces, I had a terrible 5k wet race in the endorphin pro 3.

Was it Kieran who was a huge fan of the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 and ran his PB Marathon in them or was that Tom? Sounds like they have ruined the Elites to me. Glad that I have a box fresh pair of the originals to race in alongside the Sky Paris. As a fan of firmer racing shoes I am interested to hear more on that Brooks Hyperion Elite v4 PB.

Bradley from running shoes guru thinks they are one of the most fragile running shoes he´s ever tested

That's odd because when we tested it we had an athlete run 500 miles in them and they still held up under our mechanical testing protocol.

Far too narrow, beggars belief how these leading brands don't actually think about the human form and how the toes are supposed to work within the shoe, even for a standard-width foot this shoe is far too narrow. wear at your peril, Bursitis and Mortons Neuroma along with other foot-related issues may become apparent or start only to become apparent months down the line. Im under a specialist sport podiatrist right now and 90% of his clients are athletes or footballers who have issues from wearing shoes that are too narrow. It visually looks like a great shoe but will stick to new balance who do a wide fit elite shoe to allow the standard foot to function as it should. great review though Guys

Why on earth are we testing this shoe for 10 miles easy, it's a race shoe. Only one of these guys is worth listening to at this point. Two of them genuinely seem to hate their lives when talking about shoes or running in fact.

Hmm, not an overwhelming endorsement for these shoes so makes me hesitate especially with that hefty price. I'll probably hold out for a while. Only got so many $ to spend so have to be careful not to make an impulse buy on these. "Fun" shoe ... I guess time will tell how people rate it performance wise. What will Saucony do if this bombs? Go back to PEBA?
