Under Armour Velociti Elite 2 First Run: Three runners try Under Armour’s upgraded super-shoe

Bought a pair of these at a crazy sale price of $114cdn including taxes. I never ran in a carbon plated shoe before. I’ve only been running 6 months, am 46yrs old and have had many set backs due to injury and oral surgery. Just recovered from runners knee in the right knee paired with a left hamstring strain. My first run in these I took my 27:10 5k time in my daily trainers (cumulus 26) to a 24:58 5k in these shoes. They were $70cdn cheaper than my Asics and worth every penny.

ordered a pair like mike for 122 USD including tax. Don't have em yet, but if its a good fast training shoe, I'll be happy, if they don't suit my feet, i'll just return em

Seems it would work for me. I'm use to spikes for sprints so i like the firmness. These would be like a 5k 10k road racer for me. I'm 6' 190lbs. I'd pick u a pair on sale and check them out.

At 9.1 oz for a PEBA carbon shoe seems heavy.

It’s very high stack height but it has a 2mm drop so the stack is like 40mm/38mm and with that much foam it gonna be heavier

It doesn’t look right on some of the videos. You’re landing flat and the toe end is pointing upwards like a clown shoe. Rocker looks ineffective.
