I think I'm gonna try this. The bottom half of my hair is naturally curly like that, but the top half is just barely wavy, so I keep struggling with the top half whenever I style my hair. Doing this on just the top of my hair might help me get the look that I want. Those curling rods look very neat and easy to use compared to most that I've seen on the market. I'm considering getting a real perm but this might be a good thing to try first. My hair is quite long, almost shoulder length, maybe 6-7 inches.

korean perm is not different, it's just perming hair into a korean hairstyle shape. So usually the partings and the parts you want to curve/wave/curl. Instead of doing the whole hair curly, you just choose which individual parts

if you do the sleep with damp hair use mousse then put the curlers in and then use frizz protection to not have frizz

Hi can you please do videos on different hairstyles for guys with really dry and rough wavy hair and how to manage it without using frequently hot stuff like the straightner or blowdrying because it damages the hair! I have a perm so my hair is very dry and frizzy without product in it but I would recommend putting leave in conditioner in your hair after you take a shower while your hair is still wet, also when drying your hair use a dirty t shirt as substitute to a towel because it helps with the frizz. not sure how much this will help you but it helps me and I understand what you mean

Guys trust me. I got straight hair and i did it. I thought curly will look good. It is looking good but. U will burn ur hair and it will look trashy. Ur hair will become brighter and dry as hell. Better be happy if u have natural straight hair

i just use little hair rubber bands without like blowdrying stuff i just make them up when i get out of the shower and keep it like 8 hours then when i take them off i use a product to make it stay more and it doesnt really damage your hair

It’s better if u get a perm solution and leave it wet and the perm rods on for 2-3 hours then take it off and rinse ur hair a little bit then don’t shower for 2 days , it should last a long time

Its an attachment that you can put on the blow drier, it might be frizzier without it, but you could on low air speed probably. I'm not a hair stylist tho, this is just my experience.

@@mikeanello8901 yeah maybe try the rollers in wet hair and take them out once they are dry, just to see if you like the result and then do it with the actual perm equipment. I’d make sure you also use plenty of the perm solution. Usually one neutraliser and wave isn’t enough. I had to use two of each for my hair, just to be in the safe side. Also keep a wet cloth with you cause if the solution goes in your eyes it will sting a little bit. Also the solution smells so bad

Literally, as soon as my hair gets too much humidity, it will start straightening itself back out and I have to constantly keep serum in my hair because it’s naturally so frizzy so I don’t want to use the chemicals I bought if there’s possibly some other product that has the ability to boost curls and moisturize at the same time. You don't, you have to redo it. Unless your hair is naturally curly getting it wet like that will straighten it out into it's natural state. You can buy products or have a shower cap when you shower to protect it. But women wash their hair once a week sometimes not at all. One because it prevents them from having to redo their hairstyle, and also they have a lot of hair that takes forever to dry. Your hair isn't going to die from not being washed, just clean the rest of you.

It will give you curls but volume it might not. Thick hair tends to hold perms the best and yields the best results but I have also seen good results with thin hair. Maybe perm + a volumizer product, do research to find what would be best for your hair. Sorry for the very late reply I hope my comment still helped

The chemicals in the perm work by permanently fixing the hair that it comes in contact with into the position that you have it set in, that is why they have the hair in rollers in order to permanently give the hair a curl. The same logic should be able to apply to straight hair, look into Japanese permanent hair straightening and do a lot of research and you should be able to perm your hair straight. However this can eliminate volume in your hair so be very careful and do a lot of research and maybe consider getting it done professionally if you can afford it. With that being said the M hairline you're describing is probably a widow's peak with maybe some receding hairline, covering that could make you look younger but it could also make you look more feminine so if you are wanting to look younger then proceed, but if that is not your goal and you want to look older and/or more masculine then maybe consider embracing your M shaped hairline
