I had to take a look at myself and ask why I kept dating the same guy over and over again. I took myself to therapy because it was me! People are who they are..but you have a choice. I had issues that I needed to address. I encourage anyone who is going through this to seek some help. Seek God and Stop the cycle!

I’m in therapy too and may I say it has definitely helped me understand myself better, undo some unhealthy behavior/actions, and learn healthier resources. I believe that God is pruning us for something like we never thought of before 🙏🏽

the timing of this is incredible. I'm currently in a fruitful season that has me in places and situations I have never been before. In the moment when God is moving us away from the familiar, it always seems uncomfortable and sometimes painful, but I am grateful for it because it is allowing us to know God in such a powerful and intimate way. I have been grieving a relationship for over a year now and it’s because I wasn’t truly trusting that God had better for me because it was the best I had yet to experience. But it’s in obedience where we experience Gods best!

Wow. This was so amazing. There was so many things in here that blessed me. We have to go through life with open hands and realize that all of God’s actions are out of love and apart of his BIG plan. God is sovereign, loving, and wise. The enemy uses the brokenness in our souls to keep us stagnant and attract those familiar things. But, we have to let go and know that God is growing us every day in every way and we have to TRUST his process. Have faith in HIM. I’ve been really focusing on wholeness and being a friend of God. Having a relationship. God has really been speaking to me. I’ve been working on turning to God for fulfillment rather than wordly unsatisfactory things. And trusting the WAIT. And not focusing on the past and present and knowing, trusting, and having faith that what God promised, which will be LIT, is coming. God has got big things coming for ALL of us. Trust him! WOW, Such a great conversation. I just moved to GA from California and somedays I wake up and I'm like ,Lord WHAT am I doing out here lol. I came out here thinking I knew what would come but a lot of the things I thought was coming to pass, has been pushed back. I came with one suitcase and my purse lol and all my fam is back home in Cali. He took me right out of my comfort zone and what I tought was "safe." I still don't know what He's doing but I have been soooo covered since i've been here. I'm grateful to know that His grace and. covering is right where He called me.. even if I don't know what's to come.

I needed this like now. Right now!! Just 12 hours ago I had a really enlightening conversation on my life and the settling I have locked myself in because of fear and deciding that this is the best and full experience GOD has for me... then knowing it was not right but just kept at it. Now everything I feared is happening. God said fear not, but I have been sinning because I have been insecure and allowed idolatry. Forgive me LORD, I repent from this idolatry of insecurity and lack of faith.

I just went through this after my mom passed with a girlfriend who was fun, life of the party etc, but after a few years the Lord told me to move away, but that familiarity was comfortable. I struggle with some of these topics everyday... the book of Mark speaks on leaving your hometown. I got led to the book of Mark after I decided to drive all the way back home from LA after a year of living there. I up and moved to LA the year before I drove there and back form Illinois. I literally dropped everything and moved, God covered me like no other it felt like a dream but it felt to good to be true. So mentally, I couldn't accept it. I felt guilty because of how I left but now I've been back for a year and it has been nothing but struggles. When I was in LA everything was just coming to me and it scared me. I was able to able to make a living with no hesitation and I met some amazing people. Now I feel like I'm back and nothing is the same and I'm settling in my dead end town because of running from the unknown.

Literally minutes before watching this video, I was just in conversation with the Lord about a decision that I need to make. I heard familiarity or moving forward? God hasn’t given me no details but there’s a warm feeling that LA is going to be a beautiful surprise. I have to obey because my time in New York (which he called me back to right before the pandemic) is up now. Life is to be lived. The moment when Fatima spoke about not knowing who you are did it for me! I had been struggling with that question b/c I’m in a season of transition in every area of my life. But then I think, I know my likes/dislikes but I’m not super clear on the reason God put me on this earth. Also, like she referenced am I supposed to know?? What happens if I believe I’ve “figured it out”?? Will that hinder what I will/ won’t allow God to do in and with me?
