I'm grateful that I got to see this session and will surely try to continue. What interest me more is Guru ji's sense of humour... His way of interaction is amazing. Neha, I listened to your question about finding a Guru and it was full of sincerity and humility. If I may suggest, start listening to Gurbani either by going to Gurudwara on Sundays or otherwise. They are very pure songs in praise of Lord and his powers. 10th guru, Guru Gobind Singhji also said from now onwards Gurugranth Sahib will be your guru. No physical guru. I am IIT graduate from 1980s and listen to Sri M Course and feel so fortunate listening to it and question answers from students.

Namaskaram! Thank you for share this path with us. I was searching for teachings regarding Upanishads and found this channel. This first class brought so many insights to me, specially those related to the relationship between professor/teacher/guru and the student/shishia. I am learning to reconstruct the foudantions of what I had used to call "knowledge" and realizing that were nothing more than information I had used to fulfill all my ignorance about myself, without any real meaning. I think, in fact, I am "unlearning", perhaps it is a better definition (and I never thought that one day I would consider this a very positive - blessed! - process). May peace be with all 🙏

Science is about OBJECTIVE OBSERVATION Spirituality is about SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE. My teacher sayad that.
@aviralsharma77442 жыл бұрын
absolutely no..he knows nothing..how can you be subjective and can always question things isn't it objective as well ? when you do vaad isn't it objecting things when you meditate or apply things in spirituality isn't it being applicative and a very experience based method ?? Objective is all about specific defined theories on hypothesis mostly to suit a current set of standards and experiments science tends to be stiff and subjective more than people think of spirituality remember religion is subjective, spirituality is completely different from religion

Scientific approach to upnishsad is to explore the inner body as a temple every part of basic part as a cell because of respiratory system every part of body is really a temple that can be seen by third eye of a yogi a holy man there is no mantra needed for that a kriya yog is the gift from our yogis for the whole world

Sir, as you said, Dronacharya was born a brahmin who taught kshatriya dharma. Then knowingly how did he and how was he allowed to by the other kuru elders(having Sri Veda Vyasa in the family) insult and refuse Karna's artillery on the basis of caste?

To the girl who asked how the teachings in the Upanishads can be applied in the Social Sciences - perhaps a parallel to the Indian caste system can be drawn by observing division of labor in colonies of social insects like Ants and Bees. Nothing about Indian traditions are without reason or because of ‘vested interests’. It might have become so because of our invaders and conquerors, but for the most part, everything made sense.

At 1:19:06 you said "the entre literature of the Upanishads was created to explain this cryptic sentences. So, that part of the Vedas which explains the Mahavyakya are the Upanishads". Then why you say that Upanishads are part of the Vedas? I can see that the Vedas are the Devine texts, and the Upanishads are interpretations of the Vedas done by human being.
