Chaewon's popularity has always been an interesting case. She was one of the least popular members during PD48 and their first two eras but she kinda blew up in the fandom starting from Bloom*iz(Fiesta) era and by the end of iz*one, she was probably one of the most popular members among wizones but non izone fans rarely knew of her. LE SSERAFIM is where she blew up to the point where even non kpop fans have an idea who she is.

She was moved into top12 by the PD as part of manipulation of votes. It makes sense since she came out of nowhere. 2 other participants was supposed to be in top12 was moved out so by default 2 were moved in.

Also just a fun fact at 30:35 - That performance is actually from Produce 48 and in that same performance there was Chaewon who took on the role of a leader of the team and Yunjin from Le Sserafim as the main vocal. Yes, Chaewon and Yunjin are fated

Yep, I suggest watching A Story of IZ*ONE - The Last Produce Group. It's not really about the members but more of their journey as a group. Compilations are also great, so you can see more of their personalities and dynamic with each other. It's hard to find an actually decent guide since it's been so long.

27:40 You're right, Minju is 1 of 2 IZONE actresses. The other is Hyewon. Despite Minju's pre-izone acting roles, she has only done 1 drama after the group disbanded. She was an MC on a music show for a while so thats probably why. She also changed companies last year. Hyewon has done a couple of web-dramas so far, but she also has some huge roles coming up. She was casted in 2 TV-dramas, both with very well known actors in Korea. Will be cool to see her popularity grow! Bonus info: Hyewon has like 791231 girlfriends in the industry😂😂 Okay not really but it feels like it sometimes lmao. Girlie just loves pretty girls

actually there are 3 actresses. minju, hyewon, yuri. yuri has been in 2 dramas and shes going to be in squid game 2. minju has been in 1 drama and a movie. she has a movie coming out. hyewon has been in 2 dramas and shes coming out in 2 more dramas.

A little correction to both comments here. There are now 5 actresses in IZ*ONE: Minju, Hyewon, Yuri, Nako and Hitomi. Well, 6 if we still count Sakura, given that she has acted in Jdramas b4 as main character. Current Nako has 3 dramas now (although she has acted before IZ*ONE too. Check out her current drama, she's pretty good and funny there as the main character's bff and co-worker) while current Hitomi has 2 dramas as one of the main characters (she's currently in a school drama and has some crying scenes there) and she also did some special participations in some dramas. (note: Nako has already graduated from HKT48 and is working as an actress/radio DJ/broadcaster/entertainer/events host, while Hitomi has just announced her graduation from AKB48, although she hasn't announced yet what she plans to do after, but seeing that she's being active in dramas and variety shows along with Nako, it seems she'll also go full-time entertainer/actress as well) Really wish Sakura would do some acting again. She's really good, especially in action and horror. Check out Majisuka Gakuen 4 and 5, Tofu Pro Wrestling, and her probably best one, Crows Blood. ^_^ Check out her commercial of Primera too, her acting there is pretty good, kinda like a short "horror-action" film but for a makeup brand ^_^ Can't wait for Yuri's role in Squid Game 2. I hope she's given a pretty good role/character there Hyewon will be in an actual drama (not webdrama, finally, from what I've read so far) coming soon and Minju is currently filming a sports movie remake (swimming).

Thank you for reaction, really liking your izone journey and seeing how much you enjoy the group. If you could and had time i recommend watching LKTV guide to Izone which you talked about but it's also understandable if you don't react to another guide and check funny moments or stuff like that.

If you really want to get to know them I do suggest to watch the izone movie guide that you mention at the beginning, is long but this group had 12 members so it will save you so much time by skipping all the extra contents you need to find on your own. It all depends on how much investment you want to get into this group.

You gotta react to dddance and sequnce, both have mv. Daydream while you're at it. Youll love it. Hyewon is a really huge anime fan. Search for his Luffy Gear 2 impersonation. She even said the lines lol Chaewon was consistently top in terms of popularity in Japan. In Korea, she became really popular during the fiesta era, when she first done the short bob cut hair. Japanese releases have different production team. Although it's well received by the general public (record breaking sales), it was heavily criticized due to poor mixing by those particular in music

It's simple. Their Korean release was made by Korean company and K-pop producers, but the Japanese release was made by a Japanese company and a Japanese producer

The 'Beware' video was indeed shot in Korea because of covid. Personally I like the Japanese videos the songs aside from the first single are not that great though.

I love IZ*ONE and it's so fun watching you reacting to them. BTW.. you should definitely check out Eunbi's solo career bc girl is funny, HOT and a hit maker. Just a fun and bizarre fact.. Produce 48 was the end of the franchise in Korea bc following its end, there was a criminal investigation of corruption in their voting system and thought auditory was discovered that the final numbers (and ranks) had been manipulated by the show's producer, who received bribe in a lot of discusting and nasty ways. In the recounting, Sakura actually the was one who should've been top 1 since she was the most voted (we can imagine Korean producers weren't very happy to have a Japanese getting the #1 spot in their show). Some competitors who were very popular in the show and had actually gotten in the Top 12 didn't make to the group because of said manipulation. Of course, that was not the fault of any of the girls who ended up debuting but it was such a huge scandal in Korea that the group almost disbanded within few months of having debuted. Instead, they took an hiatus to let everything cool down and came back stronger than ever.

First of all how can you call the entire rigging situation "fun" fact, there is nothing fun about it. And then of course there can't be izone reaction without spreading misinformation about the final rankings. There is no evidence for entire actual final rankings and Sakura being 1st is just a rumor and wishful thinking for Sakura stans that harassed 14 years old kid for it and to this day spread hate to her. At least there is Wonyoung karma for miserable people like you and now she is 4gen it girl and thriving.
