Youngji is a major Hoshi stan. She has this series on YT where she invites K-pop stars to her place to drink and basically get wasted. Hoshi and DK, 2 of the BSS members went on the show. So did Jisoo (Blackpink) and Jin (BTS). Btw, SVT's songs are mostly produced by Woozi, the leader of Vocal team who is also in Cheers.

When they were in high school DK couldn't talk to Jaehyun because he thought he was really good looking and Jaehyun couldn't talk to DK because he was too popular lol but now they're best friends. (Actually Seventeen and NCT have so many friendships with each other and they a lot of the members hangout in their free time).

The second song you listened to was originally written by Woozi (one of the members) for seventeen but didn't really fit their image since it was too happy, so he gave that song to BSS. Now some info! Seventeen stands for 13 members + 3 units (hip hop unit, performance unit and vocal unit, each one with a leader (SVT Leaders)) + 1 team = 17 If you liked their use of Autotune you should listen to Gam3 Bo1. This song is from the Hip Hop Unit and their use of Autotune tells a story, is really fun to listen. Their live performance is really good too.

(i dont think) there is not really a particular reason why some groups form sub-units besides the fact that it gives idols an opportunity to work on different concepts and broaden their horizons. especially with groups who have many people, sub-units are ways to highlight the vocals, rap, dance, and performance of certain members that otherwise get overlooked because of being in a big group or because their specialty (e.g. soft vocals) does not suit the group's concept (e.g. rock with heavy rap)

Okay, so Carat Here ! Seventeen is a group with 13 member. SO, why are they called Seventeen ? 13 member, divide in 3 units (hiphop, performance, vocal) and they are one team, so 13+3+1=17 All the unit got their own song and performance, I think you should check Pinwheel from the vocal team, Lilili Yabbay from the perfomance team and Chek In or Chili from the HipHop team (Trauma is amazing too) BSS is the first sub-unit in Seventeen, and they are called the "gag trio" because they are just hilarious. Boo : Boo Seungkwan Seok : Lee Seokmin Soon : Kwon Soonyoung Cheer is by the three leaders, S.Coups (general leader and hiphop team leader), Woozi (vocal team leader) and Hoshi (aka Kwon Soonyoung from BSS and the performance leader. If you are interested in them, check their Killing voice, a concept where they are singing live with special mic who capt aaaaall the sound, you'll see how amazing they are ! Also, Seventeen is know for being the Kpop group with the fairest line distribution ! Seventeen is called the "Theater of K-Pop", "King of Synchronization" because of their amazing stage and choregraphie, so it would be amazing if you check their dance practice too ! They gain a new surname : Records-Breaker because of their new comeback, FML (with two title track, FML and SUPER), so iI highly recomand you to watch Super, you'll see both of their vocal and performance in the MV !!
