Hi, instead of watching another guide, the best way is to probably watch their appearance in the variety shows. The latest one is called Game Caterer and available in KZbin, which just released about 2 weeks ago. That way you would easily identify the member, get to know each of their personality and the show is hella funny too, they're just so chaotic and natural born entertainers. Watching that type of show really helped me a lot back then. Looking forward to more Seventeen reactions!

so about the meanings behind their names: it's not exactly like their parents made up a meaning to attach to the name they gave their kid. it's just that korean has deep roots in chinese and each of their syllables can be traced back to chinese characters, which have very specific meanings. in english, it would be like if you knew the specific meanings to the letters o, m, a, and r and put them all together to make one cohesive meaning to the name 'omar'.

Since you liked their name meanings a lot, I wanted to point out that all names actually mean something. Omar means different things depending on the language. In Arabic it is "flourishing" or "long lived". In Hebrew it means "eloquent". Spanish speaking countries likely borrowed it from Arabic or Hebrew. Iceland and Germany use it to mean "weath and fame". And it's used in Somali to mean "hot steam from boiling pot". Hopefully that helps you look at your name a little differently. 💛

Seventeen's "Clap" is supposed to be all about how Seventeen are a self-produced group, so in the MV they are showing how they create everything themselves. In the MV it shows them creating the sets and holding meetings to discuss the production, and editing the video, etc. The lyrics are about how they hope people clap for them and they want to receive a lot of applause, etc. because they put a lot of effort into everything they do. Pretty much everything you see in the MV is a reference to something from a previous MV or something to do with Seventeen. So, if you really get to know Seventeen as a group, you will start to see how this MV connects to their other MVs. That is also why they created the funny part at the beginning of the dance practice showing them doing everything themselves. But that isn't necessarily how they prepare to film all their dance practices. This dance practice video footage was done special because of the theme of the song.

Hello! Thanks for reacting to Seventeen. They have been a group since 2015 and so you still have a lot more songs to check out. Actually to fully appreciate them, you should do a triple combo of reacting to the official MV, the dance practice or choreography video and the lyrics MV - they literally have no bad songs. I am really happy that more MV reactors are discovering Seventeen and are reacting to their songs. I really wish for SVT to conquer the world with their positivity and the reactors are one way of promoting them to more audiences.

I'm personally not the biggest fan of those k-fact websites and guides, they always feel cartered more to the female audience, which is understandable since its a boy group, but its a bit too much "fanservice" sometimes. Just my opinion though. If you want to get to know the members and their personality more I would recommend the 3 episode game caterers vids with seventeen. You can watch them in your own time or film a reaction, thats entirely up to you.

Feel the same, even if I am a girl that is a fan of them. It always seemed very unimportant information and gave unnecessary info like of their siblings' their names and year of birth because they aren't celebrities and wouldn't like their privacy to be breached, despite how we know they do have public social media. If I were other people I'd just look up good guides on youtube then watch their content to know their personalities more myself.
