i was one of the fortunate boys at the age 9 or ten to have attended the great TSB's as he was fondly referred by all , Ramayanam, Mahabaratham discourses twice at Siva Vishnu Temple, T. Nagar and Eswaran Kovil near Sankara Matam, West Mambalam in the years 1955-56. My sisters, brother and self had developed our knowledge and interest in Carnatic music from attending his discourses blended with music along with his brother shri Valleesan who was given a very brief time by develop any raga in between. We used to think why he was not allowed more time to his brother dwell on the raga a little more. His singing very much resembled that of the great legend G N B style. Yet another greatness of TSB sir was narrating any situation in Mahabaratham or Ramayanam, where we actually felt we were actually present in those scenes. We can go on praising TSB sir for days together. We can not forget those ever green days in our whole life. CA. Srinivasan N. Iyer Ex Resident of West Mambalam.
