Would love to afford a kit like that one day but it's really not likely. Very nice!

Man. These subscription kits do not convince me. I feel theyack detail in a lot of areas. For the scale and price, more detail is needed
@Mauscmkwk11 ай бұрын
That is because it is for YOU to improve its a kit that’s what you meant to do
@nando0301200911 ай бұрын
@Mauscmkwk so why spend 1.5k i On a kit I have to improve when I can by a mfh 1/12 and have all the detail? And they cost less and indent have to do the subscription BS

I’m with you Nando, just give me the Lego version if I’m going to build it. 1500 is crazy expensive.

Some are better than others. They do keep improving them. Its not for everyone i get that. Most “model builders“ will not like these as they are used to painting/detailing all the parts themselves. These kits are aimed at a different audience. Whether someone thinks its worth it or not, i’m not going to argue about that.

Question for you..on rear brake discs & calipers ..I have the outer (plastic) half of the caliper off but wondering how you removed the disc from the spindle..figure its glued in but wanted your advice on how you removed (would hate to break anything) Thanks for any info
@TheScalemodelingChannel3 ай бұрын

Hallo , interessante video´s , wat werkt volgens u het beste om carbon race stoelen na te maken ? Decals of airbrush ? Misschien een ideetje voor de volgende video .

'Parts that will be seen' this kit has a huge amount of missing cable/wires/clamps etc etc. It needs a transkit. If you look at the engine bay it is VERY busy..not so the kit...your opinion?

I've been working on the display issue Corvette. 3 more months and it'll be done.
@beastofackworth11 ай бұрын
Rather just buy a kit and make it rather than subscribe and get bits each month.
@nigelsmith736611 ай бұрын
Ot sure what is custom about this.... And for $1500 I would expect a lot more detail... To be honest it's a bit piss poor
@TheScalemodelingChannel11 ай бұрын
I stand corrected. Painting a couple parts might not be sufficient for the “custom” bit
@nigelsmith736611 ай бұрын
@@TheScalemodelingChannel sorry... I am not taking away from your skills as a model maker... I just think some of these subscription models are way over priced... The 1/35th railway gun is one and so is the big German battleship... Bismark or which ever one it is.... Sure the models are big but they are only made with enough detail to make non model makes impressed

Yes and no on the panelliner, the parts are all textured. So with a wash they would all become very “dirty” and thats not what i wanted it to become. 95% of this engine will never bee seen again, as it is going to be covered by all the surrounding parts. So i put my attention towards the most visable parts.
